2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Whimsical Mirror on: September 18, 2016 02:24:34 PM
Found an abandoned mirror.  Schlept it back home. Cut some boards, painted them up wildly and created a frame for it.  Now the mirror has a new home on my wall.

Measures about 5 feet wide by 2 1/2 feet tall.  Viola!

5  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Glass Mosiac Mirror on: October 26, 2013 03:35:30 PM
I've been working on this one for a few weeks.  Been a long time since I've made a mosaic.  It was groovy to revisit an enjoyable method.

This one measures  3 feet tall by 1.25 feet wide.  It has a simply wood base that was treated before applying cement and tiles.  I just grouted it up this morning while the sun was out for a brief period here in Seattle. (The photo is not so great.  Hard to take a picture of a mirror without a reflection of something in it!)
6  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Whimsical Fused Glass Tray on: July 30, 2013 03:45:15 PM
I made this fused glass tray with a bunch of left over glass from other projects... Wild and whimsical.  The more color, the better is what I always say.

measures 10.5 x 6 inches

8  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass Tiled Planters Round 3 on: May 27, 2013 11:12:03 AM
More planters.  These are 3 inches square.  Smaller than the last round.  I picked up some greenery at the store this morning, planted them and viola....  Look good on the kitchen window ledge.

9  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass marbles on: May 27, 2013 11:10:27 AM
I picked up a bag of glass marbles that are flat on one side.
Put them all in a mold and fired them to 1345 degrees for a tack fused.  This is the result.  Might be groovy on the wall???

10  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass Tiled Planters Round 2 on: May 19, 2013 08:23:03 PM
So, finally planted some plants in the fused glass tiled planters.  They measure about 6 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
