Those are amazing! And to use pants and whatnot? I don't know why I can't see things other than large pieces of materials like that!

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Halloween Costume-A-Long? (2009) on: October 12, 2009 10:12:22 PM
So I just finished one for the cart. well...mostly. It's (my first) Loli Punk/Euro inspired tea party dress, I just need to finish the mini witch hat  (I love the one posted here!). I've changed my mind on this costume over and over (hmm now maybe I want a top hat) but anyhoo, I finally decided last night to just add a detachable apron, and boom. It works for me!I'm not completely satisfied with the apron, but I'm not going to obsess over it because it's keeping me from ripping it open and making the skirt part fuller. I can just make a whole new different dress!

It's going to be strange going from this to Elmo sometime later this week...

5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: I...like bugs. ! I LIKE BUGS! (first Halloween costume done) on: August 25, 2009 10:19:57 PM
LOL that is SO funny! I made the same costume for my youngest guy last year with the red fakie minky too!! That's so funny! Only I put snaps at the bottom so it was like a sleeper because he was only 8 months or so. Great job!
6  California / California: North / Re: Sew U and have our own stitch and bitch on: June 07, 2009 10:20:50 PM

7  California / California: North / Re: Any craftster in the SF Bay has been to SCRAP, right? on: June 07, 2009 10:19:26 PM
Oh I may have to check that out sometime! Thanks!

I need to go back to scrap and just spend time going through the oodles of patterns though. I havn't had the chance to do that yet with my LO's. I always have to do a run and snatch and stuff in my bag type deal.
I'm looking for some vintage stuff, and im sure they have enough to go around.
