That is adorable!  What kind of button did you use?  It looks like one of those "clippy" ones (e.g. doesn't use a button hole); how did you set it in the fabric?
Are you thinking of a snap? They have a little tool that you can buy with snaps at like, Michaels, or Joanns, or someplace like that. I got mine at Michaels. The tool is about 3 bucks and a little thing of snaps is about 3 bucks, then you just have to place the snap on the fabric and into the tool and hammer it down. That's how mine works anyways Smiley

Ohhhh okay.  I've never seen them before, but I'll keep my eyes peeled the next time I'm at Michael's!

The dinosaur is incredibly cute!  Did you draw the applique yourself or did you use an image?

BEBE20020: All the bags are Jordy bags.  I attached the cover for the messenger bag with instructions from the messenger bag with gusset tutorial.

haloriot: I find going slow helps.  What's a seam ripper?  I usually just pull the fabric and cut the little stitches w/ scissors.

a-simple-melody:  Go right ahead, I don't mind at all.  Smiley  I'd love to see your plushies whenever you get your camera fixed!

cowgirl: I LOVE YOUR DS9 CLUTCH!  Are there any other ships on it or is it just the space station?  I think I see part of the Enterprise or maybe it's the Defiant?  I can't really tell.  Where did you get the fabric?  I LOVELOVELOVE the vibrant colours on the black background.  *Wants fabric sooo badly!*

Fury-inc: Thanks!!  Cheesy

The chopstick handles are brilliant!

Did you do your embroidery (for the Chow Mein bag) on the sewing machine or by hand?  I've tried embroidering by sewing machine, but the fabric keeps puckering.  Any tips on keeping it flat and preventing puckering?  Thanks!

Beautiful!  I, too, adore the flower print!

I make my own.  I found a piece of fabric in the remnant bin at my local Fabricland that resembled the slippery/satin-y type of material used in tags, so I cut them to size, interface, and then iron on my own logo.  It's not the greatest (you can kinda see the rectangle where the iron on is), but it was cost efficient since I already had the iron-ons and it puts scrap interfacing to good use.

Now all you need is a tricorder to put in it.

..... You got me thinking... a tricorder wallet!

But I really like my Steve Madden one.... we'll see!   Wink  I'd have to think it out more thoroughly.
