I ve made this little little scarf (or it is a neckless?) as a present for a friend s daughter. I m a beginner at crochet   so I followed tutorial on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25OSBHcWDDg it s in Portugese ?! so I struggled at the beginning with numbers in that language, but learnt after a while.
Ivy s scarf is simply gorgeous, and this one is much simplified version. I hope the girl will like it..

Hi everyone! I ve made this jeans skirt out of different old pairs of jeans, I really love it and wear these lovely autumn days, specially with white cotton shirt and boots.
 Now when I started to explore endless possibilities for recycling old jeans I regret throwing away any of them.  Anyway, I have so many more new ideas, can t wait to start a new project.

I've recently weaved this scarf, the first one I EVER made for a male. I was wondering which colors should I use, since I love to use lots of vivid colors and didn't wish the scarf to look feminine. I m glad how it turned out. He loves it. I appreciate your comments.

What I did (sorry for my english I ll explain the best I can) I copied the simple A line skirt on a piece of paper (I used the skirt I already made, but this one was from some stretchy fabric didn t have any pockets nor darts) and cut. I folded paper vertically in half to make the process simplier.When I put one leg of trousers on it I realized I don t have enough fabric. I measured how much is left on side, draw a line and cut paper on that line (oh, i hope this makes sense) That way I got the pattern for the middle part. When I sewed pockets, side seams and zipper I tried it on and realized I needed darts in front and back. I pinned and marked where I ll add them. The depth and legth of the darts depend on how curvy you are. I ve got little belly somehow bellow the belly botton so that s why i put darts so close to the center. Finally I added belt and hem.

Hi everyone, I used a pair of old boring jeans to make this skirt. The problem was that I wished sort of A line skirt and legs of trousers were not wide enough, (plus I didn t want to make it in traditional way and didn t like the waist part anyway)so I added pieces of velvet in the middle part, the back is the same except for the pockets. The zipper is on the side seam. What do you think?

I had two pieces of snake leather someone had given me long ago, I didn t have idea what to do with them. Then, when I started to make bags I remembered those pieces: the design is my own and I found this shape very useful for some books that size that I wear occasionally and normally couldn t put in any bag I had, so I wore them in hands..I wish the snake leather hadn t been so shiny but finally I think it turned out ok

I ve been weaving for a couple of years, mostly during winter. I m self thought, after one of my friends showed me basic things, I experimented, and I ve made so far maybe 20 pieces, most of them I gave away to my friends and family. I have few photos, this is one of my favorites. I can t describe well because I m still not familiar with the English terms, but I hope I will learn.
