1  Haunted Birdhouse in Completed Projects by Lolo_ on: September 15, 2011 08:20:12 PM
This was my entry for the AlphaStamps Halloween Giveaway. I didn't win sadly.

This is just a 99cent birdhouse from Michaels, covered in paper, distressed, inked, and embellished with some fall leaves and mini pumpkins.

2  Bertram de Gaulle, Scientist in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Lolo_ on: September 08, 2011 02:28:10 PM
So I have absolutely adored the elephants recently posted by rackycoo. I picked some up from Michaels and they sat around for a bit before inspiration struck.

Meet Bertram de Gaulle, scientist!

Bertram's good eye

Bertram's bum (and a closer look at his flying machine)

And here is one where he looks a bit sinister

Enjoy!

My mom gave me a pair of her old earrings. These big (1.5in) pink squares from the eighties. So, I jazzed them up with some stamps and gold leaf.

6  Harry Potter Slytherin Trunk in Completed Projects by Lolo_ on: August 28, 2011 02:18:27 PM
So I found this little wood box at Value Village and thought the design looked like a snitch.

So I took it home and made a Slytherin trunk for a quidditch player!

All the items in the trunk

The items outside of the trunk

Close up of Broom & Wand

Close up of the Quill in its ink pot, the parchment, and a divination book

Close up of the potions supplies

The bottle on the right has oolong tea and the one on the left contains a rock centipede and two black beetles I found in the yard.

Hope you like it!

So I had some great t-shirts that were way past wearability so I made pillows. Here they are:

This was my boyfriends Homestar Runner shirt. I even embroidered it for him ^_^

This is side one of my pillow. I used two different shirts.

This is the other side. I even used a little accent from the other shirt to tie the look together. Hope you like 'em!
