1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / US Home-Town Swap? on: June 03, 2011 05:55:01 PM
I was inspired by the UK version of this swap. People swap and craft according to the receivers hometown/favorite town.

If this has already been done and/or if there's interest I wouldn't mind heading/ co-heading it.
I think around 20 people would be appropriate.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Metal-working pendant... question on: October 20, 2008 07:14:46 PM
I want to make a pendant... I have a few ideas as far as metals go, but I need to figure out a way to fake a gemstone. I'm looking for something teabag sized, maybe oval shaped. I was thinking about doing resin but I'm not sure how/if you can color resin? I also was wondering if anyone knew anything about pliable metals, I'm thinking aluminum... or steel, maybe silver if I can find the money...
Any other ideas/info/input would be extremely helpful!
