1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / From two 1 bracelets to 6 pair of earrings? Hell yeah! (pic heavy) on: July 22, 2010 05:28:10 AM
Hey Smiley

I've got those two bracelets in the clearence section of Claire's and though: "Huh, those would make awesome earrings"- Luckily they had another one and voil- 6 pair of earrings were born.
I glued them on studs with superglue and actually ran out of studs- so just 2 pairs for now

The price-tag, I couldn't resist to take a peak and see the original price:

(for the last 2 pics it may be better to click on them because the original pics are way to large)
the bracelet:

here a close-up of the beads

some finished ones:

Here some action shots of the dark and light blue ones :

C&C are welcome Smiley
If you'd like to see some action shoots, just drop me a line- I'd take some and upload them asap  Cheesy
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / weaved Clutch on: May 25, 2010 11:21:47 AM
My love for clutches goes on  Cheesy
I made this clutch quite a while ago....
I used some faux suede and some iron-on interfacing/vilene so I don't have to worry about it will fray. It's lined with a purple fabric, I hope my camera doesn't die on me (again) before I use it the next time...

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Thomas Sabo Charm bracelet & necklace knock-off on: March 25, 2010 02:01:43 PM
Hey there Smiley

I've been eyeing charm bracelets like the famous Thomas Sabo ones but as most of the time, it's a money problem  Angry. So the months flew by and I still wanted a charm bracelet where I can choose the charms myself I want to attach but never found an trinket store which carried them or I found them simply just too pricey. So one day I saw this bracelet with the close-thingy that I don't like that much but it was so cheap (1 on clearance  Grin ). At home I took the close-thingy off and then thought- "huh, that looks like the thing from the Thomas Sabo Charm Necklace". Time flew by and there it was- my own version of the Thomas Sabo Necklace/Charm Bracelet

Here are the Charms I like most:

from left to right: Packman, Flip Flop, Gingerbreadwoman, cupcake with a fork, snowflake, Tetris blocks, the "big apple" and I heart NY(this and the apple one were earrings ^^)

And here the (empty) bracelet
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Waterfall neckline- on: July 30, 2009 12:46:38 PM
Hey everyone

I'm deeply in love with all your creations and it sometimes makes me more sad that i still have no sewing machine to make my own rockin' clothes.
I've been browsing a lot and also saved a lot of pics on what to do  Cheesy  And then a few days ago i stumbled across this dress on burdastyle

it was love at first sigh  Wink I wonder if there are tuts or patterns that are similar to the waterfall neckline- the commercial ones have just a "light" version of it, not the ones that are shown on the pics of the one on burdastyle.
So, does anyone know how to make a similar looking one?
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Blue glittery Clutch on: July 03, 2009 01:51:37 AM
I finished this clutch yesterday& used a blue, glittery fabric. I had the fabric for almost 10 years now- it was a carnival costume before& i only wore it once when i was about 8 or so. The years gone by& I found it& I knew it had to be a clutch- I first wanted it to be laurasaurus' classy pleated clutch but with no sewing mashine= not that good to make such. So I decided to make this:

the front

the back

and the beads I used for the closing thingy:

Hope you like it, c&c are always appreciated Smiley
6  COOKING / Dessert / A christmas mango pudding in summer ;D- now with recipe on: June 13, 2009 02:53:27 PM
I've made this mango pudding a few years ago and now that i've found craftster, i thought i could share those pictures with you Smiley

i filled it into a christmas-tree silicon baking form and put it into this glas plate

hope you like it

so here's the recipe

500ml mango pulp( i mostly use the canned version)
1/2 liter water
4-5 packages of gelatine powder
1/2 liter whipping cream
about 2 cups of sugar( i'm not sure about that, i do it intuitively)

A:Boil the water, then dissolve the sugar in it
B:In the meantime while you wait until the water boils, prepare the gelatine as it is said on the instructions.
C: Quickly pour A into B and stir it until the gelatine is solved.
D: Then put the mango pulp& cream, stir well. Put it into little cups or whereever you want it- i put it into the christmas-tree baking form  Wink

Edit: forgot to mention that you should give it into the fridge at least for 4 hours(depends on where you've put it), best if it's overnight
