Hello! I came across this thread and desperately want to make an infinity dress! I've never sewed before, could I make this without a machine?

And what sort of fabric should I look for in the UK? Are there any cheap fabric places??

You surely can hand-sew it, all of mine (3 so far) are hand-sewn before I bought my sewing mashine.
