Just wanted to share photo's of two record purses I made recently. I've been making and selling record purses for a while now and tried different styles, but I think this must be my favorite style so far. Just got a bunch of bamboo handles so I'm gonna make more purses in this style.
I'm making some bags lately and was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy some pellon or peltex in Holland?? I can't find the dutch word for it, and nobody seem to know what I'm talking about when i ask if they sell it.
I really need to find something that can make the bottom of the bags sturdier.
This must be my favorite bag I've made out of a keyka lou pattern!! It's a charm school bag. I enlarged it to 115%.
I love it!!! I made it to sell on a tattoo convention next weekend, but I think i will have to make one for myself if i sell it It is actually much nicer in real, but i really wanted to share it with you all.
inside
Keyka lou has a 30% discount that lasts till Monday evening
thank you for looking, as always c&c are very welcome!
Keyka Lou had a blogreaders discount a few weeks ago, so I had to buy some more of her patterns. I really love the lots of pockets, I'm gonna make many more. the Dewdrop pattern isn't really my type of bag, i thought it would be bigger, but it's quite small! Next time i will enlarge it a lot, and then add a zipper or so.
Thank you for looking, C&C are very much appreciateted!
A friend of mine just had her second baby girl last nite so I'm gonna send her some gifts. I would have given it to her in person if it wasn't for that we live in 2 different countries. I made a reversible wrap dress, bloomers and booties. When i saw the fabric, I really fell in love with it. It was really expensive though ( 18 euros a meter) but i couldn't resist
c&c are very much appreciated! Thank you!
the colors don't really come out good on this photo
Here's another record purse I've made. It's made out of 2 Elvis records. Inside there's a piece of vinyl with a piece of the record sleeve glued on to it.
I fell in love with the city tote mrsc made out of the Keyka Lou pattern, so I just had to buy it and make one myself. I'm not really sure of what i think of it, but i definitely think the top is to narrow, so I will probably make it bigger next time.
I just started out making bags. I found this site, and it has given me alot of inspiration!!
I saw this bag on the internet somewhere, and I just loved is so much that I wanted to make them myself. Bought some bamboo handles and fabric on ebay and started sewing! I took I while before I'd made the right pattern and knew how to sew them, but I'm quit happy with the results
Here are some foto's of the bags dat I've made. Thank you for looking,
