41  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Blue netted halter on: February 12, 2007 06:32:22 PM
So after making many of my friends their own crocheted bras i decided i was jealous and i wanted one myself. So i made this out of simply soft yarn. When i finished the bra i wanted to add something so i just added the netting to the bottom. I've never actually worn it except to try it on and i don't think i really like how i look in it....maybe if i lose a few pounds? lol. Anyways here it is:

42  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Pink Fingerless Gloves on: January 25, 2007 07:40:54 PM
So after having to unravel the gloves numerous times and cutting down the rows considerably i finally finished my fingerless gloves!! I haven't actually been able to wear them yet as it hasn't exactly been the right weather. But here's the finished product:

I couldn't get a picture of my right hand it's rather hard to take a picture of your own hand  Undecided
43  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / horsey on: January 17, 2007 09:47:54 PM
After practicing forever on learning how to make amigurumi (for some reason every time i tried my amigurumi would grow odd limbs) I finally figured out how to do it and completed my first project using some scrap yarn i had from a previous project, the result was a horse that i found on this site

Haven't come up with a name for him but i'm open to suggestions. well that's all
44  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Wicked Afghan *Added Detail!* on: January 15, 2007 04:47:28 PM
So this is my first post on the crochet forum.  I've been crocheting for a few years now but just haven't posted anything.
Well I love the musical Wicked (haven't been able to see it yet though Cry )  so i decided that the first afghan I crocheted would be Wicked themed. The entire thing is done in single crochet and took me about 3 months to finish. It's all done with Bernat super value yarn but is surprisingly soft. Ok done talking heres the picture:

I got over my fear of embroidering on crochet and put the details on the afghan. I don't know how i feel about it, it didn't really turn out like i'd hoped. I still want to outline Galinda's hand because you can't tell where her hand ends and her face starts...i'll see if i can find the right color yarn to use, any suggestions?

45  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / First post! Necklaces and earrings on: January 06, 2007 11:30:53 AM
After lurking around the forums for far too long I've decided to delurk and actually post some of the things i've made largely due to the fact that I finally got a digital camera!

This is a necklace that I actually got the idea for from a post on here a long time ago but I can't seem to find it:

The bead at the bottom of these earrings is green some reason my camera won't pick up the color:

The earrings were given to my best friends for christmas because I unfortunately do not have pierced ears. Comments are welcome thanks!
