Done with variegated red and blue thread, some metallic red and blue, plus some other threads on an upcycled handkerchief.

Hello~

This is my first post in a very, very long time so please be gentle. Mainly, "oh no, how do I picture upload?" I am addicted to Missouri Star Quilt Co. and their videos on Youtube; no seriously go and watch them! Equal parts hilarious and informative.

When I saw their Zig Zag charm pack table runner video I was in love and then finding a gorgeous Reilly Blake Red Riding Hood pack for the right price I had to make it! Admittedly this is two charm packs to make the length I wanted.

It's all self contained in a sandwich method with the top, wadding and backing. Features some home quilting and wonky squares to prove it's handmade with love; at least that's what I'm telling myself.

His face and arms are terrifyingly great!
Such wonderful texture for his arms that really gives that tattoo some oomph~
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Poly Yarn Blocking on: June 27, 2011 08:59:46 PM
Thanks Soozeq~

I thought my best bet would be warm water/dryer method. It is indeed stockinette with some ribbing, at least I know not to get my hopes up too high.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Poly Yarn Blocking on: June 25, 2011 09:25:29 PM
Hello Knitters,

I have a 'basic' enough question I guess. Currently I'm knitting a scarf in 8ply Polyester yarn and I was wondering what would be the best way to block it to shape?

I've never blocked anything before but this will need it because it's curling into the middle. My quick Google search was more for natural fibers and I'm worried I've created a mess since it's synthetic.

Any help would be much appreciated C:
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: 1960's Paper Dress on: May 23, 2011 11:37:35 PM
Thanks for the help~ I was trying to avoid drafting for myself but if it's what I've got to do it shouldn't be hard to replicate a mod dress.
I have no idea how a zip would hold up in paper, then again if it's art I'll avoid wearing it as best as I can.

My vinatge handmade dresses are all getting some love like this all in the name of art C:
