21  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: A few recent projects (image heavy). on: August 10, 2005 03:20:07 PM
oh, wow, okay...so is it kind of puffy (the one you did with paint)? i find it very frustrating trying to get my lines even and flat with that paint.

also, i think i'll try making something with a fabric pen sometime, because the design came out really really good.

and yeah, good taste in music, yes. you probably don't need us to tell you that though.

how'd you get those fine lines on the Sigur Rós/Joanna Newsom ones? did you just draw them with a fabric marker, or is it a detailed stencil?

WOW, this is SO super impressive, i totally love it.
here's a quick tout on how to upload pictures, if you're interested:
and i can't wait to see more of your posts!

- click "picture hosting" on the right -->
- click "upload photos" at the top.
- hit "browse" and find the picture on your computer, then click "upload/submit".
- type a title/ description if you want. then click "process file"
- click "click here to return to main menu"
- now click on the thumbnail of the picture you just uploaded.
- now just copy the UBB code under the picture. when you make a post, you can just paste that and it'll make the picture appear in place of the code when you post your comment.

it looks great! different shades of the same colour look great. unfortunately i have chunky hands so i dont know if i can properly loop my necklaces enough to make them even!!!

nah, don't worry. you just loop it around as many times as you can, then once it's on, you just shake it so the excess is evenly distribulted. it straightens out. trust me.
28  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / just a long chain =) on: August 01, 2005 03:04:34 AM
i had this realization today...that sometimes i really only craft so i can post it on here and get comments, hahaha.

internet-comments are so much cooler than real-life-comments.

so anyway: here's a long glass bead chain, it's one solid loop. you can wear it as a bracelet with five or six loops, or a necklace with two. feedback!!

30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: beaded wire bracelets - with tutorial!! on: July 30, 2005 03:54:21 PM
yeah, same here - i actually use a tv remote control as a form. it's hard so you can really press the wire around it, and it's a little bit oval like a wrist.
