1  DADA-journals in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by papilionette on: May 08, 2013 08:50:05 AM
Everything a young Witch or Wizard could need when studying hard for their O.W.L.s or N.E.W.T.s, well perhaps not all.. Issued by Umbridge and all..

Journals hiding as Spellbooks or Spellbooks hiding as journals!

I painted, distressed, cut, papermacheed, wacked, sprinkeled beads, glued and painted the heck out of it again!

I received from Eiseldora!

Apparently I already received last week, but my neighbours accepted the package because I wasn't home and forgot about it :/ (They said it had something to do with the abdication of our Queen and crowning of the new King. They apologized profusely and all is good.. So far Tongue) But on the goodies!

I told Eiseldora my kitchen was having a retro kind of blue and red theme going on and she sent me a wonderful Magical cleaning and cooking set!

First of, everything a Witch needs when she starts brewing!

Ofcourse awesome and reversible potholders, to keep your hands from burning picking up that hot cauldron or your scalding pot of soup! I really love these!

With matching dishcloths!

And ofcourse an apron to protect yourself from potions splatting your new robes!

And last but not least! An house-elf journal with all kinds of recipes handed down from house-elfs all around the globe.

Thank you Eiseldora for the awesome package and many thanks to Pinkleo and Jennieingram for hosting this awesome swap!

3  Grumpy cat is not amused in Needlework: Completed Projects by papilionette on: February 04, 2013 10:16:15 AM
Because it was a combination of needlefelting and embroidery, I put it here.

It's my sister's birthday soon and because I feel confident she will not look on craftster I had to share this.
She's in love with Grumpy cat and has been wanting diverse kinds of grumpy cat items, like mugs, hats etc. Since it was her birthday soon, it was apparent that I had to make her something with Grumpy.

I needlefelted it on to plain white cotton and added stitches to give it more depht and framed into an hoopla!

I've received! My awesome partner send me such an nice package that I'm still feeling warm and fuzzy.

I kind of forgot to take pictures of the nicely wrapped presents, because I ripped it together with my sister open in anxiety. But it was all wrapped in nice white paper with the cutest blue cards attached to them.

This was the first thing I opened:

A cute adipose plush. It's so cuddly!

Next thing I found was a..

Handpainted Tardis box!! It's so awesome and I'm using it allready!

Then I found ..

How cool is that and with an appropriate card with "Books.. best weapons in the world." written on it.

If that wasn't enough I found the most fantastic bookmark ever.

And that's not all..

A key to the tardis on a beautiful necklace!

and last but not least something to satisfy my lust for yarn.

A gorgeous skein of tardissy spaceycolored yarn!!

I was so spoiled!!!!

I promised to post my pictures a few days ago, but here is my great package from Crazyda!

First of all I got a shirt displaying my ericlove

And a cardholder

And a Merlottes tote which I already dubbed my projectbag!

And a gorgeous necklace with a vampireblood bottle on it, unfortunately I snipped the necklace during unpacking, I was just too enthusiastic with unpacking that I resorted to scissors to undo tape. But here is the bottle in all it's glory!

I love it all so much!! Thank you so much!

9  Re: Harry Potter R7 w/ RPG twist, Send by March 1 in The Swap Gallery by papilionette on: March 30, 2010 05:27:54 PM
Aislinn smiled when she saw her package she got from Andraa

The first thing she discovered were 3 specimens of magical plants

The first one was a whomping maple

The second one is a Rainbow cactus.

The third one are Blanche's leaves

Only then Aislinn found the letter that was in the box, so anxious to unwrap everything!

The next thing she discovered was the potionbook Andraa's grandmother gave to Aislinn in 6th grade.
She couldn't believe she forgot about that and was so glad she had it back again. It was to be her prized possesion again.

And inside she found a bookmark of the whomping Maple

Then she found a self crocheting wool ball charm, which was the cutest thing she ever saw and even in her housecolor!

The Jar of Fizzwizbiz egg were very good for relieving headache, so Aislinn was very happy to find that, nothing better than something like that in stock!

Then she found a Zen Herbal wand, especially great for mixing potions and garden spells.

The voodoo doll Andraa made for me when I got my Owls! Aislinn was so glad too see that back as well, so many good memories.

Aislinn also got the portable cauldron Andraa used many years before and when she filtered out the dense potion, she found..

Some incredible stitchmarkers! And the tiniest potion book ever!

Staring at everything together

Aislinn was soooooooooooooooooo o grateful for the lovely package her friend send her and couldn't possibly express how gratefull she actually was and squeed and shrilled the rest of the night!

10  Leaky Cauldron recipe book in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by papilionette on: March 21, 2010 05:59:21 PM
I made this recipe book for my partner in the Harry Potter Swap round 7.

I bought a plain dummy and drew the image on. Then I carefully carfed out the picture and distressed it to make it look old, with stains, white and black paint and buffed it up with some wax.

I only succeeded in making one picture, but my partner made several more, just follow the link!
