What a great first project!  What are you working on next?

I'm currently doing some embroidery on a dress I made for a final in my fashion class

Wow! This is your first project? beautiful! is this your own design?

It's just based off photos of monarch butterflies. I'd like to say I came up with it all by myself, but there's a million pictures out there that beat me to it  Wink

Hello everyone!

This was made for a class back in September, and it was my first time doing any sort of embroidery. I'm really happy with it. I've picked up some tips since then, but I thought I'd post it and see what you all think  Smiley It's mostly satin stitch, some chain stitch, and then french knotting in all the dark brown and white areas.

Thanks!

Sorry for the poor quality... I just took the picture with my cell phone. I'll see if I can con my sister into taking a better picture for me later Wink
