11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Settlers of Catan Bag on: March 14, 2010 07:38:15 PM
I am not the greatest at reading patterns, and this is my first granny hexagon, so I've had to redo hexagons about 30 times to get one to look like yours.  But this is such a pretty pattern, I am determined to get it right!

So lovely!  Cheesy

You make me want to buy a loom.

That is so fantastic!  I (like a lot of people) love VanGogh and your cross stitch is beautiful!

Thank you for giving us a really great idea.  Reusable produce bags!  I totally didn't think about that!
16  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Stewie and Lois Griffin on: November 02, 2009 05:04:44 PM
That is awesome!  I showed the first pic to my boyfriend and he laughed, then said he said "stewie needs a gun"  So I scrolled to the next picture... "Oh yeah!  And Rupert!"

Great job!  Love Brian too!  You did an awesome job getting ALL of the details!
17  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Dirdnl too late for Oktoberfest on: October 26, 2009 02:50:48 PM
I had to completely change the pattern for the blouse because I'm a dork and wrote down the fabric lengths in meters and then bought in in yards. I'd rather make that mistake with fabric than say, a Mars Orbiter, but it was still quite frustrating.

*snort*  How true!

The outfit looks great!

I totally laughed at this line too.  I read it aloud to my boyfriend and he smirked too.  You're funny!
18  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Sample Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies on: October 25, 2009 01:23:23 PM
Thank you so much for posting this!  I've been obsessed with Sweeney Todd since I was in high school and heard the original cast soundtrack Smiley  This year, I don't have a lot of money to make a Halloween costume, but I really want to be Mrs. Lovett.  I have an okay costume, but your post got me into making my own meat pie Smiley  I am so happy you posted this!  Have a happy Halloween!  Cheesy

20  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Batman, Rorshach (Watchmen), And Pumpkin King Jack O' Lanterns! on: October 25, 2009 06:54:12 AM
A-ha-ha!  I love it!  Great idea with Rorschach!  Okay, I just love them all!  Batman, Watchmen, and Nightmare Before Christmas are three of my favorite comics/movies!
