Eep! Please share! It sounds too cute! Mmm, Spock...

I decided to put it as my avatar.
Though I raid the internet for new gifs all the time and put them all up on my photobucket.
So if you want to steal one feel free to.

They are all on: http://s906.photobucket.com/albums/ac270/fieldymclovin/

Also, on www.topatoco.com there is the most amazing tshirt

The blurb is amazing, here's a little snippet: "You slap that bad boy a SCI-FIVE! Slap it so hard his mamma feels it back on the home world"

22 I'm a little Tea Pot... in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by Knot all there on: August 06, 2009 02:11:14 PM
And here me shout.

Anyway, I bought this CUTE little tea leaves strainer, in the shape of a tea pot and I am thinking of making it into a necklace or something.

But know nothing of how to go about it?
The bottom is not attached to the base, the same with the little lid.
So I am not sure how to join those without burning something and possibly melting something and it go horribly wrong.

Any tips, ideas or comments in general would be fantastic!
Thanks a bunch!

25 Sorry, i'm such a geek. in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Knot all there on: August 03, 2009 06:53:48 AM
I bought myself some watercolour paper as I haven't done it in
AGES!!!!!!

I'm doing the Star Trek swap at the moment, so I have it on the brain.

Sorry I do apologise in advance for the epic suckage of my little painting.
It's actually bigger than this but the other parts ended up so hideously badly I didnt want to put it up.
So I cropped it.
This is the bit I kind of like.

I like Spock in hats. and the retro quilted red coats from the TOS based films.
LOL.

It's also inspired by this little bit of Fanfic Home. I dont normally read this kind of stuff but I got sucked in by a friend and loved it ever since.

27 Face III in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Knot all there on: July 23, 2009 04:22:38 AM
I was in the British Museum a while back and saw the utter fabulousness of the Statueophilia exhibition.

My favourite is the huge fibreglass, hair and immense skill of Ron Mueck's 'Face III'.

Hope you like my black and white (tradish dark room style albeit scanned in the computer) photos of it.

And a Close up.

Ha ha ha, I would love to see those andorian photos.
My mate had a Sci Fi themed party last year so I thought it would be a fabulous oppurtunity to crack open my Star Trek uniform...
albeit with a dodgy alien mask but it was funny at the time because I have some MASSIVE head i think as it was an epic struggle to get it on.
I couldnt really see out of it.
It was major lolz Cheesy

Here is me doing the macarena Grin It was hilarious as everyone there didnt know what I was dressed as.
It was amazing how many people at a Sci Fi party had no clue what a Star Trek uniform looked like.

30 What to do with latex? in Halloween Costumes by Knot all there on: June 03, 2009 06:09:46 AM
Well...I had a project in which we had to explore different forms and fittings with unusual objects and make them into a product of some sort.
I did Technical Effects for a bit so I was lumped with a GINORMOUS sheet of latex which smelt SO BAD!
Like cheesy feet and rotten fish...bleurgh

Anyway, I've kept it as a halloween accessory because everyone was freaked out by it when I walked around in it...

SO, here is the delightful hat (as modelled by my friend)

And just as a little extra I had a massive load left so when I started on the next project of making something out of things your find. I had an umbrella and some inflatable jacket thing...sooo
GIANT CUTTLEFISH UMBRELLA....

Okay...you need a lot of imagination to make it look like an cuttlefish/octopus type thing but still
