1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / A few summer outfits for Pullip NOW with small tutorial on: July 19, 2007 08:27:47 PM
While I am unable to share more complicated (i.e., less linear...) patterns through a sad lack of a scanner, I did put together a very small tutorial for a basic sundress, which can easily be modified with sleeves, added/less fullness, length of bodice, length of skirt, etc. It is a basic guide I created to ease the process of creation for myself,  Wink. It is posted after the pictures.

Thanks again for all your kind words!

Well, what with classes being over for summer, and not having a very hectic work schedule, I've had a lot of fun making some outfits, and my Eternia Nerineke has been a very patient model,  Wink

I call this Narcissus, and it is definitely my favorite so far:

A Weekend in the Country, a very fun little shirtdress that almost ended up too small around the hips:

Tea in the Garden, I love the pleats and blue button especially:

Summer Circus, a very fun fabric:

Neon Lights, also a very fun fabric:

Cotton Candy at the Park, a simple but sweet little dress, and one of my favorites:

Chocolate-Covered Cherries. I don't like how the colours came out in this photo, but it's still a lovely little dress:

Summer Picnic, with a definite retro flair:

A small tutorial to obtain a looks as diverse as Tea in the Garden and Neon Lights.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / All of Jo-Ann's Clearance Fabric - $1 on: January 27, 2007 04:00:57 PM
Hey fellow Craftsters, just a heads up that my Jo-Ann's just put ALL of the $1-$5 clearance fabric down to $1. ALL OF IT! And according to the  store manager, this is a company-wide thing, so walk, run, sprint to your nearest Jo-Ann's for some awesome fabric buying,  Cheesy
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Simple Sushi Quilt! (several images) on: May 18, 2006 04:04:55 PM
Some time ago, I found a very fun little quarter flat bundle at Jo-Ann's, and just knew I had to have it. And thus was formed my sushi quilt!
The pattern I found in a magazine as a baby quilt, and I altered it somewhat to fit my own needs. It looks a little rumply and a tad askew in the pictures, but you'll get the idea,  Wink

Front view:

Close-ups of the fabric (in the pre-quilted stage)

The cat likes it too!

I wish I could find more of this fabric, it's definitely not your run of the mill print. I'll probably end up displaying it on a wall, but I'm not really sure yet.

Thanks for looking!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / It's gold, it's denim, what should I make with it? on: May 12, 2005 07:42:00 PM
I have 3.5 yards of 60" wide gold denim, fairly lightweight, that I finally purchased after about a month of admiring it every day at work. I'd like to make it into a dress, but I can't seem to find any patterns that strike me as perfect. So I decided to cast around for any ideas, and this is the perfect place to find them, Wink This fabric IS over-the-top, in an absolutely awesome way, and while my poor little webcam doesn't do it justice, here is a picture:

As you can see (sort of), the wrong side is a darker, slightly less sparkly version of the front.

Any thoughts or ideas would be more than welcome - thanks in advance!
