Made this dress this afternoon.
It took about 2 hours including tracing the pattern, cutting,...
It's real easy to make!
I like the dress and it feels soft and comfortable (?).
The weather is more like fall here in Belgium so this dress will come in handy.

The picture of the neckline is rather strange but it is the best one of the bunch.

Underneath the see trough fabric is a little blue mini dress wich I bought in a discount store.

PS My boobs look rather weird in the picture but that is the way I stand and I'm not wearing a bra... Sorry...

I wanted to make the 'picnic dress' for my daughter but I didn't have a pattern so I just tried something.
It looks great but it is WAY to big!
It will be perfect for our Disney world trip en Disney cruise in April next year.

I made a second dress from the same fabric because we are leaving for Disneyland Paris in a week and I wanted a Disney dress for her to wear on the trip!

What do you think of my creations?
The first is the picnic dress and the second is my own design (view of the back). it has an open back and it closes with a button on the back. In front there is some shiring (think this is the right word?)
I'll try to add some action pictures tomorrow.
She hasn't had the dress on yet because she's already in bed!

Made my first real dress from a pattern this weekend.
Wasn't easy but I learned a lot and have new found confidence for other projects now!

The back of the bag is in the floral print and the inside of the bag is in the green material and has a little extra pocket for my cell phone...

I'm wondering if it is not to short but I'm wearing my pj's so it doesn't give a good image...
I also have to iron the cape tomorrow...

I don't know the name of the fabric I used but it feels a bit like a jacket you would wear in fall or on a cold summernight.
The color is grey/purple/pink - ish... I think I can wear it on many different colors...
It was the first time I ever used a pattern to make something and it went quiet well...

Whipped this up last night... what do you think?

PS: it's wrinckled... I haven't ironed it yet...

I have to go to a little party on saturday and I'm thinking of making my 15 month daughter a pillowcase top out of the same fabric... would that look nice?

Top/dress/skirt:

Is actually a long tube top with a string on both sides. You can make a short/long/assymetrical skirt - top - dress when you pull the strings

The colors are very grey and pink in the pictures but in real life they are rather soft pink and light brown.
I'm thinking of adding something on the back like the heart or something else?
Any ideas?
