I managed to sew a fairly long pile fur on my machine fine several times now, though it helps to make sure all of the pile is tucked in between the layers when sewing a seam with the right sides together. Make sure you adjust the tension correctly and you should be fine. I've only even had a problem with the fluff from velvet getting caught inside my machine! Good luck Smiley
