Thank you so much. It's really not that bad it becomes second nature after awhile. Try something small like this and go from there. you just have to dive in!

Very cool. In fact it's absolutely amazing.

The thing you said about "doilies" though - and you probably didn't mean it in a viscious way - crochet is an artform and it's done in many ways and techniques and all of those ways should be appreciated because without the doilies our grandmothers made this piece would have never been made.

Much respect for this awesome work AND for the doilies  Grin

Hey everyone, this is just a simple motif I did as an exercise to sort of get me back into filet crochet. I've had the pattern forever but I *think* it can be found on About *dot* com's crochet section. I used a crochet cotton and a size 10 steel hook.

This is what happens when insomnia hits, if it's not apropriate feel free to edit or delete!
I've seen a couple patterns floating around for a crocheted penis and because I have no life decided I needed to make a pattern of my own. Enjoy.
