So, I really want to participate in a Halloween swap because I love halloween, but both 13 Days of Halloween Swaps are too big for me financially. In this swap, you would either buy or make a trick or treat bag, pumpkin, pillowcase, etc. and fill it up with Halloween crafts! Anyone interested? I'm almost able to organize, my second swap should be finishing up soon.
There have been boards for a Eureka swap before, but as far as I can tell, nothing ever happened. If there is interest, I'd be willing to organize after my current swaps are through, which will be in the beginning of August.
I don't know if anyone has ever heard of this show....Here's the wikipedia on it - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderfalls. It has some connections to Pushing Daisies, and it's a really cute show. Any fellow watchers?
My mom doesn't want me swapping because she doesn't want our address going to other people who I don't know....(I'm about to be 18, so it's not like that's an issue). Is there anything I can tell her to assure her that it's safe?
I know this is a lot to ask, but I really want to make a Star Wars quilt for my boyfriend, and tutorials, etc. just aren't helping me. So I was wondering if someone could help me from design to finish, please?
Hi! I'm not exactly sure if this goes here...sorry. I just started a wordpress blog to promote crafts as well as simply a blog. I was wondering if anyone could help with a layout? I don't have a specific look in mind yet, but I'd rather have my own than a premade one.
Inspired by the start of the new school year and the upcoming premiere of this season of Project Runway, I've decided that I finally want to start on my fashion line. I've wanted to do this for a while, but I've decided that my senior year needs to be full of accomplishments. The goal is one piece of clothing a month, which can be anything (shirt, skirt, etc.). Personally I'm going for ten garments, but you can go longer or shorter.
Each garment should be your own, but can be altered from a pattern. I personally would love to see WIP pictures, patterns before alterations, sketches, and anything else to help inspire and motivate. And of course, the finished product!
Since we're starting in the middle of the month, the 'deadlines' will be in the middle of the month, so hopefully everyone will have something by September 15th!
I hope someone will join me on this journey =) Good luck!
