If QueenNinjaMonkey wants another angel I will arrange one. I don't know what happened to acrosstheuniverse, but both sets of blank pieces that QNM sent to the UK went AWOL, so she sent two more sets, and now acrosstheuniverse has just disappeared. She hasn't been on since December, and I never heard whether she sent or received from QNM or received finished pieces from a couple of her partners. She's just had horrible luck this round of the swap what with pieces and partners disappearing. I'm glad we'll see her again in the next round though! I hope it goes better for her.
I missed this thread, and I do apologize for not starting a Round 3, but life has sort of gotten in the way for me lately. I'm really glad Dragonflywer is going to step up for the next round, I will definitely plan on participating! I've already had a theme picked out now that my Round 1 and 2 puzzle is nearly finished.
Wow, I missed that thread completely. mr. bunnyface is back in school and really working hard on getting a website going for his stickers, among other fun and busy things, so I only get snatches of time on the computer (or to craft) lately. I think mid-March early April would be perfect, and I'm really glad someone else can step up to organize, because I just don't think I have the time to dedicate to it right now. I did try not to put people with the same groups they had in Round 1 (unless is was by request. I also tried my hardest to keep up with the thread and match people who seemed particularly interested in other themes). Dragonflywer, you might get in touch with ohiodiygirl too, if you are looking for a co-organizer. I have a feeling this round could get big if there was room for it to
ETA: I'm going to go ahead and wrap this round up We haven't heard from acrosstheuniverse on whether or not she's received a couple of her pieces, but she hasn't been on since December 19 (QueenNinjaMonkey, did you ever receive from her? I hope your bad luck in this round doesn't discourage you from joining the next round!)
ETA (again): Alright, after a lot of digging in my brain and searching just the right terms, this round is officially closed!
If anyone else wants to organize I definitely would be fine with that. I had planned on having another round up and rolling already, but I'm having a hard time finding crafting time lately, and I know for sure I will be traveling towards the end of March, so I don't know when I'll be available to organize (I will if no one else does, but it could be a while).
Wow, I really love the fire on your pieces Dragonflywer. It must look amazing in real life. And I like the chains and pearls too, and mini tarot cards!?! Awesome!
QNM, have you received your pieces from acrosstheuniverse? I think this swap is pretty much wrapped up except for your pieces that went missing, and she hasn't been on since December 19th. I hope everything is ok!
I can't believe how much people have gotten done already! I feel so behind! I have to finish up a couple resends on the ATC swap before I can really start on anything else, but I did add one thing to my list that I did tonight. I can't cross it off, because it's an ongoing project, but I want to try out at least one new recipe each week, preferably using ingredients that are sort of out of my comfort zone, or things that I think I don't like (like tonight's recipe, Stuffed Acorn Squash Boats, I didn't like squash when I was a kid, but I've recently rediscovered it!)
You can go to my blog (link's in my signature) if you want more information or gratuitous ingredients/cooking pictures. I'm not posting it on Craftster because I got the recipe out of a cookbook so I don't know if I can share it (it's not on my blog either, in case that's why you want to go look), but they were delicious! I hope this follows the blog linking rules, I've had the link in my signature, but I've never told people to go before.
Wow audio! You've been teasing us for so long. It was definitely worth the wait! It's obvious that you put so much thought and time into this. Gorgeous!
I have a batch in now, and it's smelling all delicious and making me hungry! I used jungrrls sunflower seeds, almonds, and mixed dried berries and no flax seed cause we didn't have any and I couldn't find it at the store where we did our grocery shopping today. I have another granola recipe that is similar but calls for 1 cup each wheat germ and wheat bran, but no fruit (you bake it in the oven). I made it once, and it did have a nice crunchy texture.
I'm going to make granola bars with some of this batch, I've made them before with home made and store bought granola. It's 2 cups granola, 2 beaten eggs, a little extra vanilla if you like, mixed together and spread in a greased casserole dish (I think mines 9x9). Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes (more or less depending on how chewy or crunchy you like granola bars) and cut them into squares once they're cooled. When I've made them before I spread them with raspberry fruit spread before baking, but this time since there are already berries in I don't think I'll do fruit spread. They were really yummy, I'm looking forward to these for snacks at my daughter's playgroup on Monday. I individually wrapped each one before and they lasted until they were gone in the fridge with no troubles.
Alright, I'm totally in. I have a bunch of fabric that I "borrowed" from my mom in high school when my friends and I all made crazy purses for our selves, and it's all weird shaped and sized scraps and stuff that I don't really see myself using for anything else (since for the most part there's not enough to actually do anything with it). I have a few things to wrap up before I can get started, but these are just so cool!
