1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Christmas Stocking Swap Rd. 10 Gallery on: December 18, 2014 11:22:08 AM
The one that I was most proud of is squishy and an odd shape. I thought I wrapped it in blue pattern Christmas paper but I do not see it in the picture lol but it is very inspired by something you posted, Rachel!
Yeah the Sesame Street paper was sitting there after wrapping some kiddie gifts so I said what the heck!  Grin

I did two partners in this swap.  So, now its time to post photos from  sweetyetevil.  Receiving this, today really lifted my spirits, which needed some lifting this week.  Anyways....I'm waiting to open the gifts on Christmas but, I would love to share pictures of everything wrapped.  Beth, which item was the one you finished that you were the most proud about?  I want to save that one til last to open on Christmas morning.  So it can be the grand finale.  Cheesy
My stocking and a little sock monkey.  I adore pugs.  So, as soon as I saw the stocking I couldn't help but smile.  The pugs on the fabric looks just like my darling little Buddha.  And I also love sock monkeys so thought the little one was adorable.  Buddha loves them too and tried to steal the little monkey.  Smiley  I think I might have to give it to him.  His old monkey toy is so old...its loosing its fur.  And he sucks on it until he falls asleep, so I know he will love this new little monkey.

Now a group shot of the presents.  That Sesame Street paper had me cracking up.  And I am wondering what is wrapped in the bubble wrap.

I have some of the oil based markers(Michael's brand) and they are great! Did you buy those recently?! hmmmm

Beth always needs cool skully ornaments. haha

I am excited for you to open your goodies. You have more patience that I do!  Wink

I'm glad you like the goodies I sent.  On the spoon rest, I used an oil based sharpie that I found at Joanns.  I personally have never used them before but they are suppose to be water proof and dishwasher safe.  They sounded awesome, I plan to use them to decorate some mugs with pictures of pugs on them.   Cheesy  On the colorful hat, slippers and scarf I seen you loved color so I wanted to make lots of bright cheerful and warm winter goodies for you.  It was fun crafting for you.  I think the skully ornaments were my favorite items to make though.  I thought to myself "yes, Beth needs skully ornaments!"  Grin

I may be bragging a little a lot but I had the best partner ever! Littlefawnpug spoiled me and I was completely blown away with everything she made and sent me.
First up the stocking. How cute is this?! I asked if my partner was so inclined I would like an unusual shaped stocking. NAILED IT!!

Skull embroidered wall hanging. She obviously stalked me well.  Grin

coasters made with colorful sugar skull fabric  Wink I had this fabric but never made anything for myself so these are much appreciated.

Super cozy slippers, I love the colors! I was so excited to see these as it is cold in Michigan.

Winter nugget warmer. This is made so well and it will go perfectly with my winter coat.  Cheesy

Another awesome hat! Seriously I wanted some new ones and she made me two great ones!

This scarf is so cute! I have a feeling my best pals little girls are going to be eyeing this item lol

I would have been excited for one fabric bowl but instead I received 5!! Way over the top and much appreciated. These are so handy and pretty.

The best ornaments and spoon rest anyone could have made me. All are already in use. Grin

As if I had not already received so many other things here are my other goodies. Some gnome items, tons of zippers a fang mold and skelly cookie cutter. Oh there was also candy treats.  Cool

I love everything! Thanks so much, littlefawnpug! Now anxiety on hoping you love what I sent.

Stocking is almost done, fabric is cut and partially sewn. Several other projects are also in the works. Looks like tonight is a crafting & watching netflix evening. I have one more thing on order and it should be here today or tomorrow. Need to go pick up a few other goodies for the non craft portion. I got this lol

Just checking in! I have a few things on order and a few things I am contemplating.  Grin

On the issue with does everything fit into the stocking, heck no lol I could not imagine trying to make all tiny things to fit inside the stocking. I, and like others have mentioned, put smaller goodies and treats into the stocking and the rest gets wrapped and packed in the box with the stocking.

I received an awesome package from brandy!! She said she is new to making lotions and potions but she sure doesn't seem like it. She sent a ton of stuff!!! I only have big walk in shower or I would have used some of the bath soaks haha My pals are going to love these.
She sent bath soak (lemony goodness) & bath teas (sigh, wonderful), bath melts (lavender), shower vapor melts (menthol), lip balm, bags for the goodies, cocoa body butter (smells like chocolate heaven)and a kit to make vanilla extract.

Thanks so much for the great things Brandy, you went the extra mile and I appreciate that so much!! Cheesy
