3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / 'Thoughts Gone Wild' on: May 27, 2010 01:40:26 PM
Here is my latest painting. It is my typical 18x20 canvas oils, acrylics and metallics acrylics. This one I actually love.

metallic paint is so hard to photograph.
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / More traffic cone art for Boycemachine on: May 08, 2010 07:52:45 PM
I loved Boycemachines photos so much that I had to post my own traffic cone photo! It truly is an art!

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Up from the inside on: April 27, 2010 12:07:42 PM
Well, here is the latest finished painting. This one took me through a rough spot. I was actually working on this one (painting the little cartwheeling person in the corner) when some very awful news was dropped on me. It went through some amazing changes before I finally finished it last night. Anyhow, I thought I would share it with you.

6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / New additions to the cellphone project + 2 on: April 08, 2010 05:41:48 PM
I thought I would post a coup;e more from my cell phone project here. It has been a fun project. I really do enjoy the limited technology and really having to go back and depend on natural lighting and the luck of the moment. This has been a great experience for me and I recommend it highly.

7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Cell phone project continues on... on: March 27, 2010 06:36:56 PM
Here are a few more cell phone photos that I have added to my collection. Has anyone else been doing this? It has been a bit challenging since I really am limited.

8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / malignant on: March 27, 2010 06:31:00 PM
I have been on a roll. I just finished this painting. I was listening to Patti Smith while I did this one. Wish I could have gotten a better photo. Perhaps if I took it outside! I think I will try that tomorrow. I have already started a new painting.
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Old idea, change in the equipment (more photos pic heavy) on: March 15, 2010 06:47:11 PM
Since I have no REAL camera, just my cell phone camera and have been missing my 'real' camera for a few years, I have decided to start a new project. It comes from an old idea that I remember from an old magazine where a man found an old 110 camera with no flash and just went to town. He got some great images! Sooo, I have been getting some pretty good looking images with my old cell phone camera. The phone is 3 years old, no flash. The only re-touching I allow myself to do is brighten, crop (zoom) and allow black and white. That is it. So, here are a few. I have posted a couple before from a frosty day in February and had a great response. Let me know what you think of these, or just enjoy. Wink Thanks a ton just for being here.

10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Cleaning out the 'attic' on: February 13, 2010 07:46:26 PM
So, I have been moving on in life. Usually during the winter I tend to think to much and start to get all...icky...Anyhow, I found some old journals and letters to myself and others that I wrote during a nasty spell in my life. Reading them just made me feel terrible, so I tore them into strips. Then with some of the strips I made a little person with glue and painted it with watercolors. Then I painted some of the other strips with watercolors and tore them up some more. I got out a canvas, my acrylics and 'went to town'. This is the end result. As I was doing this, The song, 'even the losers' by Tom Petty, was stuck in my head. I loved that song SO MUCH when I was 13. So I named it, 'It's Just The Normal Noises In Here!'

phone camera, sorry

Looks like such a mess, but then, people used to call me Headmess! Smiley I have GOT to get a better camera!
