I love it! I might have to try making me one of those. I love to read and crochet at the same time.

Great job and I love that fabric!

I made one of these and it was way too small for me.  I had to make another and enlarge it.  I love how they 'bulge' out to make room for all my junk!  LOL

That's gorgeous.  I love the colors...great for fall.

MommyMac- All I did was take the orange construction paper and put a bank of white on top and yellow on bottom.  Then I cut out a 'triangle'.  (the directions I had read somewhere said to take a paper plate and quarter it...I wanted bigger.) I put the point of my triangle in the middle bottom part of the length.  I had played with it trying to make it into the candy corn print.

I figured if you made the cones, you could fill them with candy and then they could wear them on their head for party hats!

Thanks guys!

I made this for a contest....and I fell in love with it, and I don't even like candy corn. Only problem, DD wants one now and this one took me about four hours to make. I'll just skimp and use felt for hers...

---side view---

I made a few more things also...candy corn related of course...

DD's candy tote (the black is felt)

Candy Corn ear rings (these are just real candy..my scupley hardened in the drawer)

candy corn holder (paper cone...that doubles as a party hat!)

Gorgeous fabric and great job on the sewing.

I second the spot for a pencil sharpener.  Never have one when you are on the go.

Maybe a pocket for holding extras Huh

Was you using the tube gel stuff?

I recommend in the future using the 'icing color' stuff.  It's in a little container and you can get out what you need with a toothpick, etc.  I had to have black icing once and that was all I could find that didn't give me gray icing.  You can find it in your wilton supply stores (or wal-mart craft dept)

Thanks guys.  I haven't been sewing much due to soooo much work around the house, but I can't wait to get back at it.
