Hello-this is my first picture post.   I have to say, pictures from the previous fiber fridays have left me drooling everything is so absolutely beautiful.    These are my first spinnings made on my humble cd drop spindle...

this is merino (pink) plied with some faux cashmere (white)- it is super soft but really chunky and quite uneven..



this is corridale-I was going for a very even yarn, I sort of succeeded. 100yds



This one is my favorite- I love all of the color combos.   It is slightly uneven and chunky/fuzzy in spots.  100 yards plus I have enough roving to make another skein.

I have seen oilcloth used for the inside of sandwitch wraps.  Long ago I found a tute online for making oilcloth. 

What about an IQ light?   I saw a tute for one on here.   They look totally fab and professional.

The fire starters really work!!   Once I made paper with my dryer lint- but it was full of dog hair so it was pretty gross!!  Anyway, if you are interested in the paper making, you just add some lint with the paper you are soaking before you blend.  Good Luck

I just made one of these this morning-but I used copper wire and seed beads(because Im impatient). Yours looks fantastic!!   I love the leaf colors.

try essential oil university for eos- they are incredibly reasonable.  Im not sure of the web site, all my info is on my old computer so you will have to google it.  It is definitley worth it.  happy soaping!

Holy Cow!  when i replied last night to say how cool these were, it never occured to me that my kids would love it too.  We spent this whole snow day morning coloring and melting these beads!  What fun!!  Thank you again for giving me a happy arguement free snow day!!
