1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / A Pouch to hold Condoms - featuring an embroidered condom! on: November 23, 2005 08:51:21 PM
I made this for my friend Donna - kind of a joke, but functional as well.  A little drawstring pouch to hold condoms.

The purple fabric is from some old sweatpants I cut off, the denim from old jeans that the butt ripped out of but I saved the legs, and the elastic cord thingie is from the bottom of a cargo skirt that I shortened.  Condom embroidery from one of the little pics in a dingbats font at dafont.com.

I thought it was so cute I wanted to share with everyone!  Cheesy
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / my own "shrinky-dink" charm bracelet on: September 14, 2005 08:02:59 PM
Inspired by this here:

And here's my version:

The scan isn't great, but it looks awesome in real life.   Grin

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / The "really bored at work" pendants --MORE added 9/12 on: September 08, 2005 05:18:15 AM
So yesterday was really slow at work, and I was playing around with stuff.  I made these, to put on a necklace.

Really easy, actually.  Just glue (like rubber cement-type), tiny polished rocks, and jump rings.  They may not be too pretty, lol, but they're definitely interesting!

Here's a couple more things I made at work the next day (yes, I realize the pic is sideways!)

http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/17766pendants2.JPG

I used more rocks & less glue on the red one.  Please excuse the orange & white spot...the scanner did that...it's not really there.  Still not quite what I was hoping for, but it's getting there.  Then, the multi colored thing...it's just a little wooden ball with colored rocks glued all the way around.  It reminds me of a gobstopper, lol.  I'm not quite sure what to do with it...maybe glue one of those cap things on the top and use it for a pendant too.

And then, my coolest "bored at work" project yet:

http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/17766bottlecap.JPG

Yes, it's also sideways.  It's a bottlecap filled with polished stones.  The part sticking out is a head pin, I'm going to bend it into a circle and slide it on a black cord.  The scan is crappy, but it's really pretty.  I can give directions to make your own if anyone is interested.

Thanks for looking!  Smiley
