Ok im game.  I just found out my cousin (sorta) is preggo and I want to make her something for the baby.  I started on this blanket today....http://www.alexislayton.com/star-doily-blanket/  I am on row 23 already and it seems to be going along without a problem.

Me personally I am afraid to do socks seens how I am just starting to knit.  Someday maybe I will have the guts to try some, but then I think it would be a bad habit to start.... "hunny are you making socks again?"  "yeah why"  "cuz you don't even wear half of the hundreds of socks you have made" 

Ok so I am really sorry that I can't just post pictures but soon I will be able too.

My soon to be Mother-in-law asked me to make a baby boy blanket for a co worker.  So I got some Caron Simply Soft Eco in denim and some off white and got to work using Crochet Kim's personalized baby blanket pattern.  

This pattern was so much fun and so fast and easy.  I decided I didn't like how the name looked just crocheted on so I cross stitched it on after the middle mat was finished.  

So here it is:

These are absolutely gorgeous!!  You did a great job and kudos for doing them all in thread.  I love the way thread projects look but my hands just won't cooperate sometimes.

Ok so I finished this a few months ago but just got internet so Im going to share.

I can't find the pattern book I knitted this from but its a book of fairy tale baby stuff.  I knitted it using Caron simply soft  country blue and off white.  Hope you enjoy.
