31  Re: OTT 23 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by flower on: January 30, 2010 07:17:13 AM
I received from ThreadOrYarn.  This adorable egg scrubbie looks great despite my terrible photography.  This is just my style.  Bright, useful, and whimsical.

Thank you, ThreadOrYarn!

I made this Christmas gift for my sister's fiance.  He and I are kindred nerds.   Grin  As usual, I apologize for the crappy cell phone pic.

Please, please!  I want constructive criticism!  You won't hurt me feelings...I want to get better at this.  All comments are appreciated.

33  Second & Fourth Nativity - PIC ADDED! in Felting: Completed Projects by flower on: December 31, 2009 04:47:24 PM
Here is the fourth nativity I have made.  I gave it to my sister.  I'm seeing some progress in my technique.  I haven't been needle felting very long.

My friend received my second nativity and was nice enough to send me a picture since I forgot to photograph it:

Any comments and criticism are GREATLY appreciated!  I am eager to get better.  You won't hurt my feelings!

34  My 3rd nativity set in Felting: Completed Projects by flower on: December 24, 2009 07:32:11 PM
Here is my third nativity set.  I posted my first set here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=329071.0

I forgot to photograph my second set before mailing it to my friend.  Sad

All the fiber in this project, except the core and faces, came from loudxmouse.  She sent it to me in the 4.95 swap.  Isn't she awesome?

35  Re: Yarn Swap for Rapunzel Scarf Round 6 ~the gallery~ in The Swap Gallery by flower on: December 16, 2009 01:38:15 PM
I finally received from Enginerd Lisa.  We live in the same state and the package still got lost.   Roll Eyes  Below is 1) her resent package, 2) the scarf I made with most of her strands (I saved back a few a still unmade one) and 3) the scarves I made with my other partners' packages.  All scarves were supplemented with my own yarns to get the "right" color and texture blends.  I also made more from just my own stash.  This has been FUN!  So far I've made seven scarves total, all for Christmas gifts.  Thank you Enginerd Lisa for sending again, thanks to all my other partners for their fabulous packages, and to our fearless organizer for putting this swap together.

p.s.  Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Sad

36  Re: $4.95 Swap AKA Fill a SMALL Flat Rate Box Gallery of Goodness in The Swap Gallery by flower on: December 04, 2009 01:04:02 PM
I received my package from Ariethine!  It was full of crafty goodness.   Cheesy

cross stitch fabric:

cardboard spools for my incredibly messy stash of embroidery floss.  She sent me quite a few but I only photographed one:

cool beads:

fabric:

yarn to add to my Rapunzel scarves.  I'm currently in that swap too.  I already used the silver, blues, and purples in one scarf and they look great!

Thanks for all the great craft supplies, Ariethine!  Thanks you, lovesclutter and TheSapphireMoon for organizing.  This has been fun!

37  Re: Autism Asperger PDD-NOS Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by flower on: December 02, 2009 05:58:20 PM
I received from buttercups today and she really spoiled my kiddos!  I requested stuff for DS #1, who has ASD and also for DS #2 who is neurotypical.  Forgive me, I forgot to rotate a couple of the pictures.  Also, I only have a cell phone camera right now...ugh!

DS #1 loves all animals, particularly bats.  Here is what buttercups sent him:

critter nesting dolls:

animal stickers, a squishy spiked ball, and a handmade bat.  Isn't he cute?

magnetic visual schedule images.  buttercups sent A LOT of them, but I only photographed a few to give you the idea:

This is so awesome.  I can't wait to use them.

DS #2 loves all things monsters and buttercups found all kinds of stuff for him!

Iron on transfers for both boys:

monster stickers and temporary tattoos:

here he is with his favorite monster book.  She also sent another, but it didn't make it into the photo.  I read it to him four times before we got the packages all opened!

no pictures of DS #1...he wouldn't cooperate.   Grin

Thank you buttercups for spoiling my kids rotten!  What a fun swap!  I look forward to seeing everyone else's stuff!

I received from three of my partners today, plus another swap package and a book from Amazon...the postal carrier had her hands full when she came to the door!

RyverChyld:

I asked for fun and funky and these girls definitely delivered!  I can hardly wait to make some scarves.  Thank you, ladies.  These yarns are awesome.

40  Nativity set - first needle felting post! in Felting: Completed Projects by flower on: November 24, 2009 05:10:00 PM
I've been needle felting for less than a month now.  Here is my first nativity set.  Future sets will have a more caramel colored skin tone...the pasty-white faces are not what I had envisioned.   Roll Eyes  Also, please forgive the poor-quality cell phone pictures.

I really, really appreciate constructive criticism.  I'm a newbie at this!
