2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 47 ENTRIES / red and white shopping bag ,made from red and white shopping bags on: February 04, 2010 12:11:11 PM
hand woven on jack loom , with orlec warp left over from place mats . Being on the short side the bags from shops are always to long and drag on the ground. Modified from a pattern seen in Hand Woven Magazine also can be found on line in bag of the month. weft is one inch strips of red plastic bags and white plastic bags. t
The straps are synthetic yarn. Completely washable no shrinking no staining.

daughter needed a tree topper , wanted a snowman . Not able to find on in the shops. I made a table top snow man and didn't finish the bottom. Put a duct taped toilet roll inside for a place to set on the top of the tree and it worked out very well
