2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! on: August 14, 2006 02:24:32 PM

home, on my back.

How cool! I sat here for a couple of seconds before I figured out what state it was. But I'm wondering, what does the plane dropping bombs signify?
3  UNITED STATES / Kentucky / Re: brother's moving... on: July 23, 2006 09:38:40 AM
There used to be a GREAT indie record store called CD Central across from the north campus dorms at UK.  There were a few coffee shops in the area directly north of UK when I was there. but I don't remember the names - I haven't been back to Lexington in a few years and my memories are fading.  Embarrassed

Good luck to your brother.....UK is a great place. I wish I had stayed there for grad school. What is he studying?
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Marc Jacobs A06 Floppey Hat - Pattern HELP! on: July 17, 2006 06:59:06 PM
I'm trying to imagine what I would look like wearing that hat...probably like a mushroom. Cheesy
5  Illinois / Illinois: North / Re: For all crafters in the south suburbs - Hancock in Matteson closing, great s on: July 15, 2006 08:56:05 AM
How sad! I used to live right down Governor's hwy and shopped there all the time. I wonder if the JoAnn's superstore in Orland Park killed their business.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: KNITTA PLEASE!!! on: July 15, 2006 08:44:42 AM
This is hysterical! Although I think it's too bad they aren't interested in going national. This could be huge!  Cheesy
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 00 circular needles on: July 15, 2006 08:24:30 AM
I have never seen 00 circs, but I have 00 DPNs. What do you need 00 for, just out of curiousity?

Yeah, Dial is just a basic antibacterial liquid soap. As seen here. As basic as it gets. Funny how things we take for granted can be unknown to others  Smiley
9  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Re: How to learn weaving on: May 18, 2006 10:04:19 PM
I learned mainly from 2 books - "The Ashford Book of Rigid Heddle Weaving" and "Hands on Rigid Heddle Weaving." I have the Ashford rigid heddle loom and it was very easy to learn once I just jumped in there and tried it...I never could find any helpful websites.
