1  Re: Dayflower Lace Scarf (with link to free pattern) in Knitting: Completed Projects by mathgirl on: August 20, 2005 07:33:06 PM
Hey! It seems that everyone that started this after the pattern was posted is finishing all at once. It's interesting to see all the different looks.

Here's mine:

Made with Harrisville shetland laceweight. A little scratchy since it's shetland wool, but not too bad after being doused with conditioner and soaking. 19 pattern repeats.

Thanks again to whoever posted the pattern!

2  Blue Ribby Cardigan, uh just in time for summer in Knitting: Completed Projects by mathgirl on: June 21, 2005 04:10:17 PM
From the Chic Knits pattern, made with Cotton Ease. ( RIP Cotton Ease Cry) I decided to try knitting on a button band instead of a zipper. The buttonholes are too stretchy but I guess that's life. Made this as a gift for Mom.

I am happy with with how this turned out so I just wanted to show it off! I wish I got a better picture before I handed it over this weekend.

2nd cardigan: Blue Sky Alpacas - Silk Alpaca

::crossing fingers:: Hopefully sometime this month.  I just ordered both patterns today.  Smiley

I actually started this Angelina in the same yarn, in the white color I bought on e-bay. I think it will work well for you. But I abandoned it when I realized 180 stitches of k2p2 was not fun. Actually I like the first purple cardigan more, because It has the lacy look I wanted the Angelina to have. I don't forsee ever trying to do this pattern again. However, I love this yarn, and I will use it somehow!
