Hi, for this challenge I crafted a rainbow drinking straw suncatcher by joining the straws together with thread.  Sorry I don't have a picture of it in the sun.

5  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 42 ENTRIES / Rainbow Collar Bag on: September 05, 2009 08:48:08 PM
Hi, this is my first entry in a Craftster challenge and I decided to make a fun briefcase style bag.  When I went to the dollar store I wasnt sure what I was going to make so I bought way too much (like I always do in a dollar store) and then went home and figured out what I wanted to make.
The dollar store items I used for my bag are
3 rubbery place mats
1 lamb fleece baby blanket
2 dog collars (sz large)
1 dog collar (sz small)
1 Make Your Own Belt kit
1 Tidy totes Mesh bag (something my partner had bought on the same trip)
Crafts square travel sewing kit
My brief case has 2 compartments for folders or magazines and one small compartment for pens and pencils.
