Thanks!  I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  It was my first zipper!  And it took a while to figure out the tail.  But he has been wearing it all week... only problem with that is it was 91 degrees today!!

Thanks.  I actually found a Simplicity pattern for a sleeper without feet.  So I used that and even did my first ZIPPER!!  It came out really cute.  I used the foot and head pieces from the Mc Calls costume pattern.  All I have left is the tail.  I'll let you know what I come up with!

My 4 year old wants to be Perry the Platypus (from Phineas and Ferb cartoon on Disney channel).  I bought Green fleece and a Mc Calls pattern and started to work... the pattern is very confusing, it has me sewing darts into the arms and I just can't figure it out.  I bought a new one today that says "Sew Easy" Mc Calls but it seems weird too.   Any suggestions?  I just need a basic animal type suit.

Also having a hard time coming up with an idea on how to attach tail?
