1  New Projects! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by agamez1 on: September 20, 2010 12:55:13 PM
So I've never really posted my work here before, because I'm pretty shy about telling people in general that I do creative things. I've only been making jewelry for about a year now, anyhow. However, no time like the present right??

Here you go! I work mostly with glass, chain and some gemstones. As you can see, I kinda like natural materials, texture and chunk a LOT!

Sorry, this photo in particular is quite busy:

This one in particular is probably my favorite:

As you can see, my designs are pretty simple in construction, but I'd like to think they are kind of unique looking.

2  What color background would you use... in Crafty Business Discussion by agamez1 on: September 20, 2010 12:15:32 PM
to photograph this?

I feel like the white is getting lost in the light wood color. Also, if I make it brighter, the white really gets lost even further, but as it is, I feel the picture is really too dark.  Black seemed like the other obvious choice, but would it overpower the wood beads and then the rich brown color would also be lost? Possibly red? But would that make the picture have an overall too red tint?  I'm really new to the crafting for profit realm and have no photographic skill whatsoever. Obviously everything can be edited, but I'd like to minimize the amount of time correcting my mistakes because I'm not that great with photoshop.

Any ideas?
