1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Reversible mini-messenger bag [IMG heavy] on: May 05, 2009 03:27:26 PM
Inspired by: http://www.savvyseams.com/bags/adventure.php

This was incredibly easy to sew, just edited the pattern from savvy seams! I'm a begining sewwer, so I made quite a few mistakes, but I'm happy with it.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Double-skirt convertable dress idea? on: April 27, 2009 03:36:38 PM
I was planning to make the infinity dress, but when I was out shopping on Boston I saw this adorable double-skirt-dress thingy. It's pretty much two circle skirts sewn together, one long, the other about 3 inches shorter with a long skinny strap horizontally along the top. I didn't get any nice pictures of it, but you can wear it tons of different ways and if you use nice fabrics it looks especially nice. Just wanted to tell people about this - It looks super easy to do.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help with a Free People Dress? on: April 20, 2009 04:27:05 PM
I've fallen in love with this cute dress, but, as always, Free People clothes are outragously priced.

(Patterns are love!)
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Huge old Tee into cute cardigan! (IMG heavy) on: April 18, 2009 12:08:04 PM
Edit:

I decided to make one for my sister, after she had endured my 'modeling' session, and I'm even happier with this one!

I took huge old t-shirt cut out the neckline and some of the front, then took some fabric strips and scrunched up the sleeves, then broke out the tie-dye kit and TADA!

Cute cardigan. I will be making some alterations later when my sewing machine begins working again, but for now I am very pleased with it.

Thankies to my sister for 'modeling'!
