Attleboro’s Winter Craft Fair and Art Sale

Overview
The City of Attleboro is holding a Winter Night Festival in Downtown Attleboro
on Saturday, February 27, 2010; 6 – 10 p.m. Event details are below. The
Attleboro Arts Museum is a Festival partner and is organizing a specialized
“Winter Craft Fair and Art Sale” that will be part of this City-wide event.
The Craft Fair and Art Sale will only be open to vendors that can offer
“Winter” themed handmade items such as (but not limited to):
Warm hats
Gloves/Mittens
Scarves (velvet, wool, felt, fleece, etc.)
Felted items
Candles
Coats
Shawls
Vests
Socks
Handmade snow shovels
Wool/velvet backpacks and bags
Baby booties
Snow toys
Fireplace accessories
Ceramic mugs, tea cups
Coffee/Tea
Bird feeders
Greeting cards with a chilling message
Thermometers
Jewelry with winter-based designs
Books covering cold weather themes
Winter/cold weather based (winter, snow birds, abstract ice, skaters, roaring
bonfires, etc.) visual art (oil, acrylic, photography, 3D, textile, etc.)

All vendor booths would be indoors, on the ground floor of Attleboro’s City Hall.
Each vendor would be responsible for bringing tables, chairs and all items
required for preparing their booth space.

Vendors keep all of the proceeds from their sales.

FEES (payable to the Attleboro Arts Museum)

To apply: $5.00 members; $10.00 non-members. This is a juried show.
Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Winter Festival booth space: $30.00 per 10’ x 10’ space for Attleboro Arts

Museum members; $40.00 per 10’ x 10’ space for Museum non-members.

Double booth space: $60.00 member; $80.00 non-members


REQUIREMENTS:
1. Only Winter-themed handmade items will be permitted. No kit crafts,
imports, or commercially produced items will be permitted. (*Rare exceptions
may be granted in advance of the fair based on application. Non-profit groups
selling items which specifically promote their organization and its mission can
apply.) Craft demonstrations are encouraged.
2. Exhibitors are required to bring and set up all tables, tablecloths, chairs,
supplies. All tables must be fully draped. We encourage creative outfitting of all
booths and demonstrations of your painting, craft, etc. A tent is not
encouraged for this indoor space. Electricity is available on a limited basis
only.
3. All exhibitors are expected to charge sales tax.
4. Booths must be manned from 6 – 10 p.m.

I make mine from felt i have a friend who screen prints them for me and on a 9x12 felt square you can get a lot, and you dont have to worry about frayed edges. take a look at these for a better idea of what i'm trying to say haha

these look great! i picked up this pattern as well b/c sewing circles and duffles confuses me and they never look so good, did you find this pattern hard to work with ?
Now i need to dig that pattern out and try it

So this past weekend my bf was kind enough to allow me to host a trunk show of my bags in his salon. So we cleared out all thing salon related and turned the shop into a cute lil handbag boutique for the night there's lots of pictures so i will just share the link, take a look and enjoy!

Hey everyone so a few weeks ago i ordered some custom prints I designed from spoonflower, so i made some wristlets with them. There's a few tweaks that need be made to them but over all i am very very very happy with them! Hope you like them as much as i do.
