Oh, that Bento box is beautiful.

I've received a DECORATED ELEPHANT from stellato_escuro
and a replacement puns card from Bunnyface. YAY!

I'll post pics in a min.

The deocrated elephant. The spots on the head are actually jewels and they look sooo beautiful.

The puns ATC. Sorry it's backwards. But, it's fish saying "dam" and there is a dam. I love it.

Thanks so much to the two of you.

Hey everyone,
So you all should have your feedback. Let me know if it didn't show up for you.

Let me just say that being flaked on sucks. It's very discouraging. Especially in this case where we had communicated beyond the info sheet. But, I guess it's better to happen to me then a first time swapper. I decided not to get a new partner because I want to give what I made to my friend for Christmas.

So here is the painting. I really like it. My boyfriend says I should put a little grey in his beard to make him look younger.

And the shirt.

I also have some simple greeting cards but, I didn't take their picture. They are simple and similar to the tshirt.

I hope everyone enjoyed this swap.
I had fun organizing it Smiley

I received an amazing ATC from SonjaBoo today.
She chose my Boston Bruins team theme and did not disappoint.

It's a jersey with movable sleeves. The sleeves tuck in behind to make it ATC size. I love it and will display with pride!! My boyfriend will probably want a Vancouver Canucks one.

And..funny story. When I was getting the mail today there were two things, both ATC sized. I got really excited because I love receiving ATCs. So I pick them up and bring them to my apartment. The package that was not the Bruins Jersey looked like this (except with my address on the front there).

Anyways, I open it up and am thoroughly disappointed...it was an O.B. sample!!!

I felt like when you think it's 2:00 and you get off work at 2:30, but it turns out it's really 1:00.

Here we go...

I received two amazing ATC's on Friday.
First, an art nouveau one from Knickertwist. It's absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much, I couldnt have asked for a more suiting card.

And secondly, Eyeglasses from Linda P. It's just adorable. It reminds me of harry potter (who I love). And she sent along some extras. I always appreciate receiving extras Smiley

Thanks so much to the two of you!

WOAH. I totally just realized I forgot a lot of the package.
My brain is fried tonight from a long day of work.

So sorry, Psyche.

She also sent LOTS of fabric and notions for sewing. As well as lots of stickers and images for ATC's. Coasters and lots of other things. Here is the pic.

8  Knit Beret in Knitting: Completed Projects by macnatalie on: October 16, 2009 05:23:31 PM
Hello,

I knit this yesterday and thought I would share. It's a twisted rib beret.
I got the pattern from Ravelry. I'm really happy with the result.
It knit up so fast because it's worsted weight yarn.

WOW. Marissa is absolutely beautiful. I love the colours.

I have something to share with everyone.
I would call this my first proper skein.
100 grs BFL. Spun and then kettle dyed.

I call it "I Want Candy"

Hey all,

Got my envelope from Psyche! I love everything. She sent everything to my tastes.
Thanks so much, Psyche Smiley

So here are the pics!

I've been wanting a sewing machine cover for awhile. I am so happy she made this for me.

Some nice yarn to knit with.

Some handmade notecards. I LOVE them sooo much. They themed with my favourite Greek myths.

Some nice wooden stamps. I just started to get into stamping.

And lastly, some AMAZING homemade lip gloss. I love it so much. Ive been using the vanilla spice one non-stop. It makes my lips feel so good.

Thanks again, Psyche. I really loved everything.
