1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: USED lab glassware?? on: June 09, 2009 02:49:32 PM
Ooh, so many possibilities! Put paint in it and swirl it around ( a couple colors) so it looks marbled. Put little figurines and such in them and make your own extra-sciencey 'biodome'. Fill them with gel with glitter or glow in the dark stars ( or both) and make your own 'sample galaxy'. You could always stick an LED light in them.
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Scrappy Square Quilt on: June 08, 2009 05:45:21 PM
What an amazing quilt! When I saw it at first, I thought of a Klimt painting as well. Somehow my scraps never look that cohesive and pretty. Did you plan the layout of it or just sew and peice?
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: ooh, Sparkly colors! Beaded butterflies on: June 08, 2009 05:37:51 PM
So pretty! I love sequins, and the beads you used go together so well with them. These would look awesome on a tote bag.

I'm from Belington ( Barbour County) going to college in Elkins(Randolph). Sewing machine beats textbook. Always.
