I've never really been much of a painter, I like to play with it once every couple of years, but after the sad news today about an idol of mine (Ronnie James Dio) I felt like painting something, anything! And this is what came of it:

I just got a brand spanking new shiny camera, and so I thought it would be awesome to test it out, and here are some of the results!

I wanted sooooo much to post this yesterday, but I had to wait.  I made this cake as a surprise for my best friend, who got married yesterday! I knew if I posted it on here she would have seen it lol.  It was a lovely and very small ceremony, but I felt that no wedding could be complete without a cake, so here it is!

I got the basics of needle felting down, so I though I would test out my skills.  I had recently read a book called the Tao of Pooh, and loved it, so I decided to try to make a little Pooh bear of my own.  These are the results :

This was my first try at needle felting, I saw the stuff when I was out, and just had to have it!

It's been beautiful weather here for a few days, so I was feeling rather spring like.  It inspired this bracelet!

I finally finish that nice warm wooly scarf I started way back in December to keep me warm... just in time for some wonderfully warm weather  lol



There isn't a whole lot fancy about it, but I'm proud of it, because a good friend of mine taught me to knit, and she has helped me along the whole way, fixing things I've messed up or botched really good... except this one! I managed to complete a whole project on my own! Woo haha.  Must have been all that awesome teaching! 

I'm starting to get my crafting Mojo back! Yay!

I've been having troubles deciding what crafts I want to do, I'm all over the place, there are so many things I want to do and try.  So I thought I would just start off "small" lol
This is my first ribbon rose!

My other half loves his granola breakfast cereals, but they can be pretty pricey so I thought I'd try to make my own! I found the recipe here : http://www.artisanbreadinfive.com/?p=390

I replaced the raisins (since the other half doesn't like them) with dried strawberries, and also used dried kiwi and pineapple with it! I over cooked this one just a tad, but it still tastes really good!
