That is freakin' awesome! I wish I had friends like you. That is the best baby present ever.

I made a new dress for my poppet and a necklace. I didn't use a pattern so I kind of just made it up while I went along. I like how it came out though. I just have to make her some shoes now to go with it.

The eyelashes are actually just fake lashes that you can find on the make up aisle. They have adhesive on them so I could stick them in place before I glued the eyelids on. And the earrings are actually a pair of mine that my grandmom got me. I have since stretched my ears pretty large and I can't wear them, but my doll can now.

I can't wait to make her some clothes but I have a few other projects lined up first that I have to get done

I finally got my second poppet complete enough to show off. I tried the Elenore pattern for this one and I'm really happy with how she came out. I needle sculpted her toes and gave her bendable fingers and everything. Her hair is a crocheted cap that I latched the strands of yarn to for hair. Because of this, she has no bald spots, her whole head is covered. I actually just pinned it in place because I want to be able to change her hair if I like.

Right now she is still in her underwear because I need to make her some clothes but that is the next adventure. Oh, and I named her Trixie (after Trixie Tang from Fairly Oddparents )

I just saw this on a bump on adultswim about 2 seconds ago. I don't know if you knew that or not.
