Here is the bag and book that I received from squirrelgirl

the bag is very cute with the little pinup girl.  the book looks great and I started it straight away.  I actually forgot that I was getting a bookmark as well so didnt notice that I didnt find it.  The bookmark in the photo is one that I made....HOWEVER, the one that was hiding in the back of the book is much nicer.  I found it after I took the photo.  It is a pink knitted bookmark with black beads knitted into it in the shape of a K.  It was very clever and I wish I could have shown it off to you all.

Hi Pinkmafia & Jadey -

My package arrived from Jadey and it looks great!  We have agreed to cheat slightly and have made requests for what we would like made and sent the "ingredients" to our partner.  It still looks really exciting because I am making something that I havent done before.

Jadey has sent me a corset and lots of material and notions and I am going to decorate it for her to wear.... its pretty exciting and will enlist the help of some of my other crafty friends for ideas.

I sent Jadey some miscellaneous material and odds and ends and requested one of her groovy messenger bags (or similar) - Can you post before shots Jadey? I didnt get one before i mailed.

I also just received my book and bag from Squirrelgirl! so much for it taking 8 weeks - it got here in no time!  I cant wait to get home and look at it properly and of course take some photos to show you my lovely pinupgirl bag! Thank you so much!!

excellent - so glad you liked it.  It was made for a flaker, so I guess we are lucky that it wasnt completely against your taste....

The bag and bookmarks...... the quotes were originally for my first partner who flaked and they are quotes from her favourite author and band..... but thankfully they were nice enough quotes that anyone could like.


The first time i have added a pocket to a bag!! Not sure why I didnt bother before coz it was very easy.  


A flower Pin - can be taken off if you want to wear it on something else

phew - im so glad it arrived.  i was starting to get worried :-)  Id forgotton that I had added that cookbook - glad you love pasta! im a big fan too.

Kat - I am hoping that this doenst spoil your surpirse but Im worried that your parcel may have gone AWOL!!  Fingers crossed it will arrive any day now..... but in the mean time here is your summer fun parcel:

hope it reaches you coz I think that material is too cute to go missing in the mail.  I bought it last summer (southern summer) but didnt have an excuse to use it.  Glad we had this swap so i could make it into something to send to a good home
