Here is the bag and book that I received from squirrelgirl

the bag is very cute with the little pinup girl.  the book looks great and I started it straight away.  I actually forgot that I was getting a bookmark as well so didnt notice that I didnt find it.  The bookmark in the photo is one that I made....HOWEVER, the one that was hiding in the back of the book is much nicer.  I found it after I took the photo.  It is a pink knitted bookmark with black beads knitted into it in the shape of a K.  It was very clever and I wish I could have shown it off to you all.

excellent - so glad you liked it.  It was made for a flaker, so I guess we are lucky that it wasnt completely against your taste....

The bag and bookmarks...... the quotes were originally for my first partner who flaked and they are quotes from her favourite author and band..... but thankfully they were nice enough quotes that anyone could like.


The first time i have added a pocket to a bag!! Not sure why I didnt bother before coz it was very easy.  


A flower Pin - can be taken off if you want to wear it on something else

Kat - I am hoping that this doenst spoil your surpirse but Im worried that your parcel may have gone AWOL!!  Fingers crossed it will arrive any day now..... but in the mean time here is your summer fun parcel:



a bag, a purse/pouch and 2 pairs of earings........ I may have popped in some other treats but I cant remember now - it seems like i saent it ages ago.

hope it reaches you coz I think that material is too cute to go missing in the mail.  I bought it last summer (southern summer) but didnt have an excuse to use it.  Glad we had this swap so i could make it into something to send to a good home

I havent been online much in the last week so its update time for me.

Thanks you Jadey for sending me a makeup package for the feathers swap. I love my duster and was just complaining that the room was so dusty - now i have no excuse.


Kat- the summer fun package is great and cant wait for the weather to heat up so I can use it all. 


I half suspect that ive mixed up some of these and that they dont all belong in the photos that I have put them in - please forgive me but I have a fluey head!

funny you should say that - she wasnt still at all - she was walking towards me acordd our roof and I used photoshop to crop the image down to just include her eyes.  the image was originally this one:

There isnt much art in this one except that I entered this in a local photo comp and got a place for it..... I just think that the cat looks awesome... and thats because it has such great markings....

FINALLY figured out the phot posting - i needed to "save for web" and reset all of the dimensions of the image as they were always too big - hope they look ok
