21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / TARDIS journals! on: April 05, 2012 03:57:37 PM

While not swamped with work, I have been putting together some TARDIS journals fashioned after River Song's. I put many hours of love into these! Each page was aged by hand and bound together using the coptic stich, and the covers were painted and scored by hand. One of theme has a pen/pencil/sonic screwdriver holder.

Oh, that's too cool!  I thought it was a regular snowflake too, but it's even better!  Is there a template for it somewhere, or did you come up with it on your own?

This is a design I came up with on my own after extreme boredom at work. Let me tell ya, punching those teeny holes in it took way too much time and effort. Well, not too much time, because it totally paid off.

Some silly branding stuff for myself. I can't tell you how much I love this purple color, I was so excited to have an excuse to use it.

I love the Katamari Series! Although watching it gives my husband a headache. Tongue Did you just use regular construct paper? I've always loved this depthy paper art style, but can't figure out exactly how its done. Do you have links to this kind of technique?

Blegh! You will never ever catch me using construction paper on anything visible! That stuff is so poopy, fades like crazy, and is so mega flimsy.

Here's a link so the process of another one I did: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333622.msg3853668#msg3853668

Every paper artist has a different technique, I don't really know of anyone who works like anyone else.

Jeeeze I have been busy recently! So much crafting! I made this as a card to give to the people who gave me graduation gifts. That was two months ago, but what the hey. Sometimes being tacky is the only way to fly.

I'm also going to send one to our vet, who was so kind when our kitty was ill and when we finally had to put him down. They sent us such a wonderful sympathy card, they definitely need to know how much we appreciated them.

Also, THANK YOU for being such great and supportive people!
