11  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Princess Bubbelgum on: August 15, 2013 01:55:28 PM

My twin and I are celebrating our birthday tomorrow, and since my present to her is princess themed, I decided to toss in a P-Bubs! She's just recently been getting into Adventure Time, which I am flippin' stoked about. I'm almost 30 and just can't get enough cartoons.

As a mother of 2 boys and one girl who is the younger of the three, I really can't wait to see this book, tbh. Booger, drool, toupees, and ear hair?! How can you go wrong!

I just shared this quote with the author/publisher, we both love this compliment!

Fabulous! That's really exciting!  Great paper cutting to.  I love the little plumbers button the kid picking his nose.  so funny!

Thank you so much! I actually had to start over on the book a month or so ago because the author and I both agreed it wasn't "obnoxious" enough. He specifically wanted at least one butt in the book, and I excitedly asked if it could be featured on the cover. Also featured in the book are boogers, drool, toupees, and ear hair. What a dream come true for me *U*

I've been quiet recently, not for a lack of papercutting! I've been doing more than ever, because *GASP* I've been working on a children's book to be published in September!! For now, all I can show is the cover and a couple little pieces, but once it is published I will share a couple of spreads.

Guys. GUYS. I'm excited.

Haha.  I seal them first by hand painting them with nail polish.  I let it soak into the paper and harden.  It makes them really sturdy and protects them from water.  You can then spray seal them with an acrylic spray as well whick gives them a great finish and protects them from UV rays.  The combo works exceptionally well for me.

Funny, I was really hoping you used nail polish! Every crafter's secret.

May I ask what you use to seal these? I have a few paper earring ideas that I have been designing, but I'm unsure as to how to finish them.

I should also add that these are super amazing and would die if I saw them in person. A good death.

Actually, the fact that it's small is really impressive. The smaller your canvas, the more difficult! Great work, and that green is so perfect for the subject.

After a very long hiatus, I finally did some paper crafting, felt pretty good!

Kat Martin, aka weighanchor here on Crafster, did this painting a long time ago. I wanted it and we agreed to do a trade. Cheesy
