Her are a few things I have madem the rings are the most recent.
I actually just ordered a mandrel so I can size them, and sell them!!
Though I do need more practice!  I already gave my better looking
one to my BFF, no pic of that one. Sad
Anyways, enjoy, and thanks for looking, please let me know what you think!

Some of these I really like the way they turned out, but some I am not all
that excited about, but I still like sharing.

these are cheapy plastic ones, just added them for good measure!

OK, so lastnight I started my paper mache doggy.
I got some chickent wire, which was awful to work with, it kept wanting to roll back up.... but I got it!
Heres what I got so far..... dont mind the tape, I had to add to it to make it bigger!!

44  Gotta love freebees!! in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by K3lly on: May 11, 2009 05:01:47 PM
Okay, so I was on my way home from work and saw these windows leaning against a house...
I just had to stop and ask about them..... of course they didnt want that 'trash' so I took ALL OF THEM,
even the broken one!   There are a total of 28 windows.  I have a slight idea of what I would like to do with
them, but it wont take nearly 28 of them!
I was thinking of using those corners used for scrapbooking, to hold pictures on the glass.... their name escapes me!  Put the photos on the front side of the glass, and do some kind of treatment, frosting, paint, colored paper, to the back, and paint the panes different colors, this way I wont have to paint my rented walls, but can cover them up with these great windows!!
Any additional ideas would be awesome!!
Thanks!

45  My most recent projects in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by K3lly on: May 07, 2009 10:18:29 AM
Here are a few pictures of my most recent projects.
They are nothing big and impressive, mostly just things in my craft area... that is still not finished yet!!
I hope you like them.... and comments welcome.

My curtains in my craft area werent long enough, I have 2 windows, and decided to do them each differently.
my favorite one..

and the other..
(I think I might take this one apart, and make it match the other one)

I found the little picket fence part at the Goodwill, painted it white, added the flowers, and painted grass, and ladybugs on it.....

Part of my mothers day gift for my mom.
They came black, and I added pink ribbon, and the buttons.

I got a new laptop for my birthday, and quickly got bored with the plain look of it.
I had an envelope full of diamonds I cut out of mags for whatever may have crossed my mind for them... the bird because he is the same color as the diamonds!

And 2 christmases ago my mother got me my sewing machine, and one of them white, boring, plain carriers.... I decided to make it mine!
The sides....

the ends...

and the top..

46  Suggestions for kitchen. in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by K3lly on: May 02, 2009 06:44:11 PM
This is a picture I took of our kitchen as I was cleaning it before we moved in.
I like a lot of cabinet space, but this is a little over doing it!!
I would have to litterally climb on the counters to get to the top row of cabinets, but I dont us 'em.
Any suggestion on what I could do with this?  I am going to go with reds, yellows, and oranges for the kitchen.
My inspiration are these great sheer orange curtians I found at walmart.
I was thinking I could remove the doors on the top row and use it to display something, but I dont really have anything cool enough to display, and I dont collect anything.
AND I rent, so I cant really do a whole lot...... I havent even asked if I can paint yet!!

47  I decide to try cardboard furniture. in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by K3lly on: May 02, 2009 06:30:13 PM
I have read a couple post here, and on instructables about cardboard furniture.
My fiance and myself was surfing the web looking at dressers and similar type of clothing storage for our room.
We came across this GREAT looking dresser type deal, that was hundreds of dollars.... I just knew I could make it,
or atleast try.  So here is my attempt at cardboard furniture.  I am very proud of it, and it is very sturdy.
I work at walmart, and the manager let me have some ov the BIG signing they put up at each door, so I have a bunch left, I'm gonna make some great bed side tables too!!

As you can see I'm not totally finished, I have to finish up the bottom drawer, and paint.
I was even thinking I could make a paper mache paste, and slap some on there to hade the egdes of the tape,
and give it a cool look to it.

Suggestions, and comment are welcomed.
Thanks for looking.

50  NEWB! in Introduce Yourself by K3lly on: April 12, 2009 10:18:38 PM
AH HA!  I finally found the 'say hello' section!!  This place is HUGE!!  A lot bigger and with more sub forums than any of my other forums, ANYWAYS... HI!

My name is Kelly, I will be 25 next month.
I live in Kentucky, in a good size apartment with my fiance, my little brother(who is 21!)
and all 3 of us are owned/bossed by 2 Italian Greyhounds, and a Miniature Schnauzer.
Bothered by a squacky bird, and at aw with the fish, well at least me!!
I work fulltime at WalMart, the most evil place in the world!!
I love spending time with my furkids, and wish I had more time for my projects.
I honestly dont find myself very crafty, or creative, I'm not even really good at much of this stuff.
But I hope to be one day soon.  I like sewing, beading, and putting things together. Its usually the
prefab furniture, but I would like to do more fun stuff!!
I have been lurking around this place for a while, and thought I should join in the fun.
I dont have any projects going right now, but I do have about 4 bracelets, a few necklaces,
about 10 pair of earrings(my fave things to do), a couple curtains, a few hems, doggie pajamas,
and a dog sweater under my belt.  Something I am going to get started on here in the next week
or so.... my craft corner.  I am stealing the corner of my bedroom that has 2 built in closets/shelves
that way I wont need as much furniture in my area!  I have already gotten a bunch of ideas, and
inspiration from all the post I have read here.
Here is a pic of me and my fiance.
ETA a real picture instead of a link Smiley
