Hi, I'm looking to dye my hair, no funky colours, I'm boring...I know...and maybe a new cut. I'm not confortable putting my pic on line all though I'm sure it's fine Cheesy...but I'm very pale and have naturally brown hair, right now it's a red-brown and I'm looking for something to give me warmth in my skintone and more dramatic...

Thanks Scarlett Grin

Thanks for the recipe and I'll have to make it...a shopping I will go..
Here is some more I've found if any intrest.

Strawberry Cream (for oily or normal skin)
1/2 oz. white beeswax
1 1/2 oz. sweet almond oil
1 oz. apricot kernel oil
1 oz. strawberry juice (or apricot or peach or honeydew melon)
8 drops tincture of benzoin (known to be STRONG sensitizer)
Wash, drain, and mash 4-5 large strawberries. Squeeze out the juice and strain through muslin or cheesecloth. Heat the beeswax and the oils together in a double boiler until the wax is melted. Remove from the heat and add the juice quickly. Beat the mixture until it is fluffy. Add the benzoin and beat until it is cool. You must beat the mixture until it cools or else it will separate.

Strawberry Hand and Foot Exfoliant
8-10 Strawberries
2 tablespoons Apricot Oil (you may substitute olive oil)
1 teaspoon of coarse salt, such as Kosher Salt, or Sea Salt
Mix together all ingredients, massage into hands and feet, rinse, and pat dry. Strawberries contain a natural fruit acid which aids in exfoliation.

I like strawberries... Grin

Thanks again...

Homemade Face Mask for Dry Skin

Avocados and honey are particularly moisturizing.
avocado
cup honey
Mash the avocado in a bowl, then stir in the honey. Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes. Run a washcloth under cool water, then rinse face.

Homemade Milk Mask for Dry Skin

1 tsp powdered milk
1 tbsp almonds, pulverized
1 tbsp runny honey
1 tsp aloe vera gel
2 drops essential oil (choose your favorite from the list below)
Mix ingredients well, apply to face, let sit for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water. This recipe is enough for two.

Homemade Face Mask for Aging Skin

This mask works well for maturing skin, since sugar is a natural exfoliant and will help soften the lines your skin creates as it ages.
3 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp warm water
Melt sugar in warm water. Make sure granules are dissolved, otherwise they may tear your skin. Apply to the face and leave for 10 minutes. Gently massage around the skin. Rinse.

There is some of mine, but I'm hoping for more every day ingredients around the house...so it's not a huge shopping list.
