Productive day yesterday...

4- got the idea sorted just need to buy one more thing.
5- I had an idea but I think its a little past my skills now I can't think of anything else! Undecided
22  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Swirl-along? on: August 22, 2009 08:51:13 AM
Ah hair pins! I only learnt to crochet a few months ago and in the book it said to buy stitch makers. Well when it came to using them I didn't have them on me but I had hair grips (I always have hair grips) I've still not used the stich markers. Smiley

Btw love the swirls really must give them a go sometime soon.

I've Finished!!!...... one item... Roll Eyes

I'm quite glad that i've finally got one done but i'd really like to be futher along by now. I have one item all ready to go but i'm waiting till my day off so I can get it all done in one go. I also have an attention seeking pooch that won't leave me alone when i'm crafting so hopefully i can tire her out first aswell.

I used some paint for one of the items that wasn't intended for that use and its started flaking off so back to the drawing board with that one. Cry

I have however finally got round to tidying the boat and I feel so clensed and refreshed and ready to craft for England! Grin
25  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Grilled Eggs. That's right, grilled eggs on: August 14, 2009 08:07:06 AM
I love scotch eggs they look real tasty.
Traditional scotch eggs have a bread crumb coating and we don't cut them or really have them with any dip. I normally grab them off the market and eat them like an apple for lunch while walking about shopping for dinner.
Its really interesting so see how different place interpret dishes.

oh just found this this is one of the stalls i get them off. Check out all the flavors!

Man! These are so cool! Love the detail.
Going to a festival that Noel is doing stand up for over the weekend, might actually get to meet him for the second time!! Smiley

Thank you! ^3^

if you need an icebreaker, tell him you saw his future sailor doll... Tongue

I will! He's such a friendly guy, last time I met him which was many years ago he gave me an autograph of a cowboy star fish.

Pay day is finally here so we are off on a shopping trip tonight so hopefully on the weekend I can get a few more things started.
29  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: small bust, big everything else. Need help.. on: July 28, 2009 07:40:29 AM
Glad you like Gok, hes like a lovely, kind version of T&S. I don't like T&S as far as I know neither of them has been particulary over weight so they can come across as condesending skinnys. I don't like all there touch feelyness either. Gok was over weight so knows what its like to be bigger.

I'm a perfect Pear which is alot nicer than me just feeling like I have a huge ass and hips. Wink
On skirts he said I should wear aline which I think we my hight make me look shorter and fatter and he said I should never wear pencil skirts which I love. I think I have a great bootie why not show it off. Grin

http://gok.channel4.com/
Hes a guy whos on tv over here. I'm not normally one for beliving what I see on TV but I love gok and on the website there is a little thing you can go through that will tell you what shape you are and what cuts fit best etc. He never talks about weight really or anything like that its just what looks good for your shape.
