I made granola tonight to go in some trailmix! Yay! It's a super simple recipe too. Boil 1/4 cup each of brown sugar, honey, and vegetable oil, 1 tsp. cinnamon, and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Pour it on 4 cups of oats and mix to coat everything in yummy goodness. Pour everything into a shallow baking pan and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, stirring every five minutes or so. Stir after it's out of the oven too so that you don't get one chunk of granola the size of your pan.
I'm posting this while I wait for it to cool, and it's proving to be a very hard wait. Darn you deliciousness of cinnamon and sugar, darn you!
