beautiful! I love them!

awesome hat! I had no idea you could put knitting and crocheting into the same project .. I've been doing both for about 11 years now.

How did you do that? I couldn't even imagine how to begin something like that, but I would love some tips if you wouldn't mind .. the possibilities for this are endless!

I found this pattern online and absolutely fell in love with it ... started making this cute hat and realized .. OMG! I should totally see if anyone here wants to make one with me!

so there is the link for the pattern .. I think it is just an adorable hat .. something everyone should own at least one of!  And the funny thing is, I went to the store just yesterday and saw 2 hats kind of similar that were selling for about $20.00 a piece!  I thought it was rather funny really!

anyhow, I will post my pic when I finish the hat .. I am about ...I dunno, like 3 inches or so into it.

The pattern isn't difficult to knit, the only advice I have is make sure you count your stitches from time to time to make sure you haven't dropped any!

okay .. finished my hat the other day and just needed the chance to take pictures of the finished results.  Hopefully someone my want to try the hat once they see how mine turned out!  I need to make another somewhat smaller one, this one got a little stretched! (not in the photos though, later)

my husband is always getting rid of old button down shirts and I never thought of something like making them into skirts ... don't I feel silly now?!

I am in the process of making a beautiful sailboat baby blanket ... I am WEEKS away from being done with it, and my puppy spilled a few drops of chocolate milk on it right near the beginning of the blanket! (she was trying to lick out the inside of the glass)

Obviously I can't just throw it in the washer, it's still on the needles!  So how do I get the stain off or is my blanket a lost cause? I've never had this happen before and I am just horrified.

PLEASE HELP!

ok, here's what I came up with.  I have to admit, I never would have even seen these let alone made any if it weren't for craftster ... and my girls looove them!

wow! that is just unbelievable ... I just don't have words to describe how amazing that is and what a cool idea too! I need to make one! I have three little girls under the age of 5 though ... hmm, wonder if I'll be able?!
